Hell where was Clark in the first half then, I thought we were dire. Bit of a strange game where you could say we were maybe fortunate to get a point but damned unlucky not to get all three. I am going to take issue with the reporter who will no doubt side with Di Matteo in the local rag, MK based here, who has already started banging on about us being defensive minded. I will take great delight in reminding them of there goalies walkabouts before he could get around to taking a goalkick.

I agree it probably wasn't the best performance but certainly the best for a while, so thats why Clark was probably a bit over enthusiastic.
It was only the first half hour really that we were on the back foot, and I thought that was more MK Dons playing really well rather than us being particularly poor. They were well on top but we defended well and came into the game more and more as the half went on.
Over the full game a point was fair, on second half performance alone we deserved a win.

The right team for me if all were available would be a 442 with smithies, holdsworth, clarke, butler, ainsworth down the right, pilkington down the left, goodwin and collins in the middle with boothy and cads up front

That's why you're not a football manager. We tend to play with 11 players.

lol. that was one bad mistake 40 percent short hahahahah No Roberts? No, the way he has been playing i wouldn't have him in there. The directness of Pilkington and Ainsworth (when his minds in the right place) is far more dangerous and effective than Roberts dribbling from one side of the pitch to the other and being too greedy

If that isn't bizarre enough, your front 2 certainly are. How are Town going to win matches with those 2? I admit the choice is absolutely dire, but why would you want Cads upfront when he clearly isn't a striker & never looks like scoring & never does, more to the point! Its bad enough at the moment being forced to play Booth - without making the situation worse.
