It's a fake.
Whether or not it was always intended to be so is another matter!
The new Man Utd kits for next season are interesting though!

Looks cool does that Man Utd shirt. Isn't it the centenery of their first trophy or something and that is the shirt they wore back then?
retro look is so much classier looking than your usual little flashes of colour here and there crap thats club's wear. Town's best looking shirt recently was the one we wore in the bottom division 4 or 5 years ago.

Those Man Utd ones look fantastic!
Its certainly gonna be one of those some will love and some will hate ideas but it gets a big thumbs up from me. I wish we could do something completely different like that.

Chelsea have gone for big changes then! The Chelsea one is just the Adidias stock design it seems, as the Bayern kit i've seen is pretty identical with the colours switched. Chelsea have already announced they'll be having a new home shirt every season from now on, because they want to be 'honest and up front with their fans' As for the new England shirt, a quick bit of searching on the net, suggests that it COULD very well be a lovely kit. The badge has been changed, and the word ENGLAND removed from it, and it's now in a lighter blue. Kitbag.com also seems to confirm the new shirt will have a collar again Plain white, with a good collar, and it'd look superb. Nike now own Umbro and they've apparently had a lot of input into this one.

I like the Man U home kit but the lace up collar on the away is shocking, theres retro and then theres retro!
Chelsea looks the same. Liverpool kit is dull but better than that grey mess they wear at the moment.
Nike kits are better than the adidas ones at the moment.

Chelsea have gone for big changes then! I was actually wondering why there was a picture of this seasons Chelsea kit! The Man Utd ones are excellent but the Liverpool one is dull! When i worra lad they always had yellow away kits and ALL goalkeepers wore green and it was a novelty if you played Plymouth and the keeper had on a red or yellow top. Sorry, i'm waffling! ;D

That one must be a fake because it has the wrong England badge on it; the old one and not the new one. Also, the tiny previews of the kit reveal light blue and also a collar. I think Umbro also came out and said it was a hoax shirt.

Is there going to be a new England away shirt?
Cos if it turned out that it wasn't fake or the official one was similar to that, I will avoid it like the plague.

There's usually a new England shirt every year, away in even numbered years, home in odd numbered years. So it'll be just a new home one this time around. With a new away one in time for the world cup (which we will hopefully be playing in).

Wouldn't it have a star on it aswell if it was the shirt. Indeed, apparently the star is going to be embroidered this year, after the tacky plastic effort last time. Nike are putting in the effort because the England shirt is one of the world's best sellers, if not THE best.

The lack of the star was the part that made me think maybe it is a fake afterall (that and the fact that the shirt is sh*te). I'd like to see a Nike/Adidas/Puma England shirt. Those 3 are the fashionable/credible sports brands. (Only in my opinion of course though).

Remember Euro 2004 when all the Nike kits where the same (the one with the circle round the number) just different colour. We'd just get a white and red version of 'the template'.

I'm not sure, I think Nike are moving away from the template thingy now. Nike owns Umbro so it is essentially Nike making the kit anyway, just with the Umbro logo on it.

Yeah Portugal, Czech Republic, Holland, etc. I think all Puma football shirts look decent.

I dont think they're as bad as they were but I bet there's a hell of a lot like the Man U one with the front 'v' next season. Wish we'd get a nike kit

It's Nike's new thing, 'V For Victory', you can see it in the new advert with Rooney, Rio, Torres etc. It's already on the current Mexico home shirt I think. As for us getting a good kit manufacturer, I believe when Pete did his interview with Sean Jarvis he put this question to him, and Sean said next season's kit is the last Mitre are contracted to make, and they're looking in to it. He said he liked Adidas.

Getting a good kit manufacturer is basically a toss up between an increased production cost against potentially higher shirt sales. I'm not entirely sure how so many L2 and Conference teams have Nike though, do Nike have a deal with the FL or something?
