Of all the duff managers we have had in the time I have watched Town (nigh on 30 years) Horton was the one who I couldn't abide at any price. I know he did OK in his first season and brought Stewart to the club but he always gave me the impression of being an arrogant incompetent. The reason I brought this up was in light of this kerfuffle with Fabregas. Remembering Horton's rant on that video we had out of the friendly against Leeds about Lee Bowyer. I bet Horton lost his cool as Fabregas went on the pitch to celebrate the win. It would appear that Hull's problems with Fabregas where that he was on the pitch, the clothes he was waring ( ) and "his agressive attitude". Now I wasn't there but I bet good old Brian let him have a piece of his mind (I'd be careful about being so careless with your facets Brian!) in that dreary black country drawl of his. I should imagine that Fabregas gave him some back. Let me just say spitting is disgutsing and cannot be condoned but I should imaging Horton was at the hub of Fabregas losing the plot. When he was Town manager he seemed likely to rant at anything but achieve 4/5ths of sod all by doing so. My least favourite Town manager by a country mile - including Stan and Wadsworth..!!!!

I quite liked Horton. His spell was blighted with bad injuries! Re last night, Fabregas wasnt in the matchday squad and was therefore a spectator, so shouldnt have been allowed on the pitch. Whatever was said, spitting is disgusting and if he is guilty he should be given a lengthy ban.

No-one deserves to be spat at but I bet brainless Brian felt it necessary to offer his "views"! We'll agree to disagree over his management capability.....

Doesn't matter if Horton has wound him up, if you have to resort to spitting at someone then you are a bit of a nob! If he has done this then Fabregas has gone down a lot in my estimation. That's if he definately has though!

I expect more from someone like Fabregas though! Dunno why, he is a footballer after all!

I liked the quote from Cesc "I have no idea who the Hull assistant manager is or what he looks like". Phil Brown "for their club captain to spit at my assistant at the end of the game shows you what this club is all about" .I dont know why but I cannot stand Phil Brown, has any other manager believed his own publicity as quickly with his lifesize cut out of himself in his office and his "look at me everyone I'm going to tell my players off in front of you all so you can see how great I am"at Man City. What a tosser. (Removes himself from his soapbox)

I wouldn't want to shake Browns hand either, pompous tosser. I love the fact that he has a moan about Fabregas' clothes. difference does it make what he's wearing? Managers up and down the country wear naff tracksuits, should they not be allowed near the pitch?

Both Horton and Brown are a couple of idiots. Brown changed his story on Five Live this morning and you could tell by his trembling voice that he was very unsure about his story. The spitting was on the pitch changed to spitting in the tunnel. Why are all the halfwits in this country called BROWN?

Fabrigas is a typical Arsenal, whinging, whining, blinkered, classless, w*nker, very much in the image of his manager.
What was it he said? "Why would I spit in someones face when I haven't even played? I have NEVER spat at anyone ever on a football pitch"
So he's a liar aswell as a disgusting ar*ehole.

Fabregas is a cock. Aresenal is a club full of players/people like that. Dont mind Brian Horton - better than most of our recent managers.

Horton really rated himself a a manager, he was a good player but when I met him at Patron meetings he was very aloof, again just behind Wadswrth, Ritchie and Ternent. We've had some bad managers!!

I rated Horton as a manager, dont forget he did really well in our first season in the championship, with pretty much the same squad as had played under warnock in the division below, as was already said he was very unlucky with injuries. Who knows how well he would have done without them.
He made one big mistake here and that was falling out with Darren Bullock and selling him which lead to him losing the dressing room and the awful performances leading up to his sacking

I can think of one called Cameron (2 if you include him from Birmingham that hates Town)
