I'd like to ask:
Why Boothy and the Everton lad started up front? Why no pace like Cads or Ainsworth?
Why leave 4 defenders covering one attacker + runners, when they went down to ten? Tom Clarke looked a prime candidate for subbing.
The rookie manager might not know the answers, but his vastly experienced back room staff should.
Perhaps there are reasons, others may like to suggest a few, but these are questions that should be asked and the answers printed in the after match press release.

He said cads has only trained twice since being injured didn't want to risk starting him. Fair one. Ainsworth I expect was left out considering recent trouble and also to use him against tired legs

Fair enough, that's the first question answered.

Keep Lee Clark. Get rid of Faz Mac and Blackie. Promote Mitch to Lee's right hand man.
We certainly wouldn't do any worse, would we?

Steady on. There are many round here, who know from their extensive studies of backroom staff, that will try to convince you that we have the best management team outside the Prem.

Or Lee could just be ignoring them and trying to prove a point (possibly to himself) that he is the boss. He's young, he'll learn. Or get sacked.

In all seriousness, I dont think our management team know how to manage at 3rd division level, and the players just aren't capable of doing things that the coaches are asking. They then become confused and tense, and hey presto, we have a shite football team on our hands. The players need to get back to doing the things that comes naturally to them. Hopefully Jutkevicz has a natural instinct to travel in a westerly direction.

I've no problems with the starting team - cos of limited training they didn't think Cads could do 90 mins & Ainsworth has his off field problems.
I thought it was a brave, but correct, decision to bring Cads on so early.
What I can't understand is why, when down to 10 men & a lone striker, Clarke wasn't subbed & Ainsworth brought on to play up front in a 343.
I also can't understand why Robbo & Goodwin were taken off.
I have backed Clark to the hilt & I still believe he will turn into a very good manager, but you have to question his tactics today. I wonder who decided to leave a back 4? - even without them going down to 10, Clarke had a miserable game & should have been replaced. They created nothing all afternoon & we still gifted them 2 goals.

He needs to realise they aren't as good as he was.

Sat near the dug out today and didn't see the 'backroom' management team make any verbal/tactics/touchline contribution except during substitutions to do a bit of back patting.
Shouldn't they be sharing the technical area with Lee shouting instructions?
Why are they so quiet and very backroom during the match?

Totally agree paul - LC played three of his "own men" today and one of em was the best man on the pitch! For all the protestations to the contrary, he has inherited a group of mediocre players and deserves the summer to clear em out and bring in some players who are good enough to compete at the top of this godforsaken league!

The bench looked different but I'm so far away I couldn't really see for sure. It took me 20 mins to realise the bloke ranting at the side of the pitch was Clark as well! Get your proper clothes on man...I thought it was one of the subs gone mad.

Yeah he was bench looked different cos Clark wore a tracksuit it took me 30 mine to realize he was there. Goodwin went off because he was getting frutrated and looked like he might get another card, his passes were off today, poorest game I've seen from him. Good tactical decision by Clark though, we dontb need a defensive midfielder when 2-1 down looking for the win

I didn't say much, as I didn't know much about them.
Clark, I like.
Not too sure what the rest do. It's the: 'Best backroom staff outside the Premiership' comments that I'm uncomfortable with. How do the people who make these quotes know what the managenent teams at say Wolves or Burnley are like?

Not sure shouting and screaming at players like Allen does is the way way to get a result. Perhaps we should have gone 4-3-3 but don't forget we scored one, missed a penalty and missed a great change with the header right at the death. The management can't really be held accountable for missed like that. Playing Clark's way did did at least create the chances to win the game.
