I am absolutely fuming with some Town fans on here. How can you defend Jutkiewicz? We weren't just booing him because he played like a banana, for the 7th game or so running. We were booing him because he threw his jumper at the manager and started mouthing off at the coaching staff. NOT FIT TO WEAR THE SHIRT. A perfectly legitimate statement. You don't want players like that at your football club.
So to all you Town fans out there pretending to be saints, SHUT UP! Jutkiewicz got everything he deserved for showing complete disrespect to the manager of OUR football club, and in turn a disrespect to us, the fans.
It was not his fault we were 2-0 down, but when chasing a game, you don't need some lazy, jumped-up little toad from Everton laybouring about the pitch. He deserved to be taken off, a similar thing happened at the Millwall game. He was poor in the first-half of that game, Clark clearly told him to pull his finger out in the second half. Five minutes in it was apparent that he hadn't so he took him off. We didn't boo him then, although he had been poor. But the reason we booed him today was because of his petulance. We were showing our support for our manager, against a loanee.
So to all you holyer than thou town fans, SHUT YOUR BIG GAWPING MOUTHS!

You all must have amazing abilities if you could sense he was going to throw the top at the manager when his number came up.

He got booed when he was going off, not by everyone. I didn't boo him then, in fact i was slouched back in my chair in utter amazement. But when he threw his jersey at the manager, then the Town fans began to chant songs to him. Which were totally justified. To those of you who are moaning that we sang for a good five minutes after the incident, you are wrong. We sung one round of, "You're not fit to wear the shirt", "Send him back" and one other which i can't recall. Not five minutes of constant booing. He deserved it for being an arrogant, jumped-up little shit!

Am with you black on this one! I saw everything what happend and even the players on the bench were trying to talk to him but he wasn't having any of it! Hopefully we won't have to see him play again, he doesn't care about our club and i wont someone who gives 100% to wear our shirt! By the way i wasn't booing him before the game or any other games

Quote 'We were booing him because he threw his jumper at the manager and started mouthing off at the coaching staff. NOT FIT TO WEAR THE SHIRT.'
Crap - People were booing before a ball was kicked - as they introduced him to the crowd.

I clapped him off, I hope to see him score in Blue and White, I support my club, not some players and boo and have a go at others.

Sameoldstory, that was a minority, i didn't hear it. But the town fans that directed songs towards Jutkiewicz were justified, end of story.

My abiding memory of Lukas will be the huge Galpharm reception he got before his debut against Leeds. He heard the cheers, looked at the floor and spat a big wad of snot onto the pitch. Didn't acknowledge the fans at all.
I didn't boo him today or join in with the South Stand chavs as they chanted their songs, I was too stunned by the reaction of Lee Clark to do anything like that. A bizarre episode.

I've been watching Town for over 20 years, have never booed a Town player, never will and didn't do today when Juckivitch went off. Although I did stand up and gave him a slow sarcastic clap for what was another utterly woeful performance. I can understand why people booed him today, i'm not saying it's right but can understand why they did it. You'd think after being left out of the starting line up for the last few games that when he got his chance he'd at least make an effort...just a slight effort...but no he was same old lazy, useless, couldn't care less attitude. And that's why he got booed, it's understandable.

Yeah Russ be a laugh next week, was just so pissed off yesterday hes not been a good signing no and booing when he came off i can understand because people pay good money and ive booed people off myself its just when people are more bothered about slagging a lad off a good 10 mins after hes been taken off instead of then thinking im going to get behind my team now as i could make a positive difference. im just glad people like yourself and the rest of the lads we were with then got behind the side instead of joining in those pathetic chants.

It was not his fault we were 2-0 down, but when chasing a game, you don't need some lazy, jumped-up little toad from Everton laybouring about the pitch. I agree he was sh!te, but what you also don't need at 2-0 down is people finding any excuse to hurl abuse at said player. Not to mention then going on for 10 mins with chants directed at him without any support or encouragement given to the team we're supposedly supporting. People seem to take the 'I pay my money' argument to mean that they are entitled to hurl abuse at anyone and anything.

There were no chants ten minutes after he'd stropped off. He was given abuse after he chuked his top at the boss. After that the fans got fully behind the team. Truth is he got off lightly. End of!

I admit 10 minutes now seems slightly exaggerated, i apologise, but the negative chants continued for longer than they needed to. During the negative chants someone tried to start off a pro-town song and was drowned out. While I was annoyed about lukas and would not like him to play again, I was more concerned about getting behind the team instead of continuing to slag him off. The booing he got can be justified but the chants which followed for a good few minutes after achieved nothing.

there wasn't even chants 5 mins after he was subbed aswell so i dont no where he is getting it from! We should all forget about it now cos he int gonna start another game again and i would rather try a youth striker that would try than him, seen as we have nothing to play for.

Any boos beforehand were minimal and certainly not widespread. He got the "your not fit to wear our shirt" chant for about 30 seconds in the immediate aftermath of his disrepectful tantrum. The support for the next ten minutes was great as we rallied and even scored a goal.
No one got killed, one little upstart simply got put in his place.
Well done to Clark by the way because his response certainly made me feel that little bit better. Seems the gaffer demands respect and cares about our colours even if some fans would like to turn a blind eye.
