Scored 10 minutes after he came off the bench and put in the cross for Boothy to set up Butler. He comes on and changes the game and creates chances. Leeds Utd away being another example. Is their anything Cads can't do? He wears his heart on his sleeve in every game and its what every town fan wants. 1 more year I say..

Awesome player.
Just wish he didn't spend as much time in the treatment room.

You are being unfair to Ainsworth, he will be a g8 player for Town, Roberts is inconsistent, and to be truly g8 he needs to play well every week, not become a Ben Thornley who was narcissus himself.

While I do worry about his injuries, he must be worth another contract. He can cover right wing & be a back up centre forward - if we don't re-sign him, we'll need to buy 3 strikers, 2 to play & 1 to cover, which allows Novak to improve for the future without being thrust in to the spotlight. If Novak looks anything like this pre-season, it will be a bonus.
If Cads plays wide right, it might give us a chance to look at Super Pilks as our attacking centre midfielder.

The way Cads uses his strength and speed, could he even be a candidate for right back? As seen as we are speculating, we might as well see how far the boat can be pushed out

As seen as we are speculating, we might as well see how far the boat can be pushed out Cads put a cracking challenge in down in the corner in front of the Antich. I'm sat there wondering when I last saw a defender get his foot in on a challenge and make it look so easy.

His attitude was summed up early in the second half when he "pointlessly" chased down a lost cause wasting much needed energy and causing a bottom of the league third division defender to make an error. Cads ended up almost getting a clear run on goal himself and but for a last ditch block on his cross we'd of had a goal.
If you cannot create goals you graft for them, and if your a proper team you find a way to do both.

Cads has completely surprised me, I was never impressed about the signing - he seemed a complete waster, however when fit his touch, close control, effort this season has been tremendous, one of the few pleasures of watching the team this season. we are a different team when he plays - as a striker however forget it.

No right minded person can argue that he doesnt offer the team options --he works he gets crosses in albeit his stats on assists aint that good (partly due to the crap strikers we have) but plain and simple HE DOESNT PLAY ENOUGH GAMES and should therefore be shown the door or given some kind of pay as you play deal.

cadermateria is what you call a FOOTBALLER!!!THIS lad tries his hardest for the team and football club and ALWAYS GIVES 120% IN EVERY GAME HE PLAYS IN.....i would luv it if he stays here for a long time!!!!he,s our best player by a mile and when he gets injured or starts on the bench I THINK OH MY GOD WE ARE GOING TO LOSE!!!!START him everytime in my opinion!!!a true proffessional in my opinion!!!a credit to watch i luv the lad!!!TTID He's just playing for a contract, funny recently how his injury record has improved slightly. Please don't give him a contract. As soon as things get a bit tough Cadamarteri will be nowhere to be seen

Did anybody not see the absolute gobber of an header Cads missed (from 3 yards) after we equalised. Put on a plate for him by Ainsworth. First goal of the season says it all for me.

When asked on Saturday Danny's wife said that he was not being offered a new deal and would not be here next year, now playing for a contract elsewhere.

Why should we just get rid of Cads just because he's a bit injury prone??
Would Man Utd get rid of Rooney because hes constantly getting injured?? Would Spurs get rid of Ledley King Would Chelsea get rid of Drogba, Deco, Cole etc...
No they work round it by playing these players in the more important matches giving them a bit more time for recovery. They do this because they are important players to the club and are more of an asset playing 20-30 great games than 45 average games!
Cads give 100% when he plays, if the other 10 players put in the same amount of effort we would be pushing for promotion, even with the team we have at the moment!

3 assists and i goal and this is his best season !!! Just the type of player we shouldn't be carrying.
Richard's point about playing for a contract is spot on. He might put the effort in when he's on the pitch but he's not exactly known for making any effort to get on it is he.
As soon as anyone talks in favour of Cadamerteri they immediately qualify it by saying "ok, he doesn't score goals but...." That last minute header on Saturday was pathetic.
Please get rid, and get someone who delivers the goods - reliably. "CADS" is provenly unreliable at EVERY club he's been at every season without one exception.
