cads for me too, i've nothing but respect for a man whos career has been plagued by injury, is nearly 30, and still puts in that amount of effort and desire. pilkington was a close 2nd though, boothy was his usual saint.

I'm with Keiran O'reagan with this. Pilks just ahead of Boothy. It was also a pleasure to see Cads farewell goal.

farewell goal, care to explain Cads is shite. For a striker he has never bagged more than 6 goals in a season at any one time! ALways injured waste of money runs away from goal a lot of the time. 2/3 quality strikers in sorted

Just look at his goalscoring record. He hasn;t hardly ever played as a winger in his career either. Cads was signed as a striker and has only scored 4 goals for this club over 2 season. Injury Prone. GET RID. Waste of a good wage.

Let's have Roberts, Cads, Pilks and Ainsy battling for the spots on the wings.

Absolutely! Its nice to have cover and competition for both wings rather than just one. Cads can be a quality asset to our squad rather than a liability now that we have Pilks and Ainsworth. Why would you get rid of a good, useful player who offers something completely different to our other wingers, even if he is injury prone?

HE will never get 20 goals a season but he turned the game almost single handedly on sat - his run for the equaliser (and shoeuld have won it). Worth a squad place - a luxory we can afford as opposed to a big risk. Cadders for me, then booth, pilkington and I thought Butler (after a teribble 20 mins) played well for the remainder.

Frustrating maybe, because he is clearly injury prone. IMO he should get a contract next year in addition to 2 new strikers so he can be used off the bench when the pattern of a game needs changing.

Anthony Pilkington picks up his 4th Man Of The Match award, not bad considering he's only played for us 10 times!
Total awards so far this season:
6 Gary Roberts
4 Anthony Pilkington
3 Matt Glennon, Danny Cadamarteri, Jim Goodwin, Jon Worthington, Robbie Williams, Andy Butler
2 Kiegan Parker, Alex Smithies
1 Michael Flynn, Chris Lucketti, Liam Dickinson, Nathan Clarke, Andy Booth

I'm mystified as to why Pilks is the run away winner. I like him and he was one of our better players but the fact is he barely touched the ball in the second half. He was always in space and available for the pass but kept being ignored. Whilst not his fault I don't see what he did to get man of the match.
Any of the voters care to educate me?

All of the megz he gave their left back and countless crosses especially in the 1st half that no-one got on the end of. Tireless worker.

He was on the ball a decent amount - he was being double marked until he switched to the left. He was untouched cutting in or going on the outside. There was 1 nutmeg on the left back which me and my mate said made him look a world above League 1 level - he showed lots of pace to get round onto the end of the nutmeg and then crossed it into the box.
