...............just watch a re-run of the "A New Beginning" DVD from Warnocks time here and your love for the club will come shining through again!!!! I know it is difficult to compare eras, but we had a real team then from back to front - no real stars but what a spirit and a manager who knew how to mould a promotion winning side. This club has some marvellous support, and whilst we have big disagreements on this board every week we deserve better than we have seen for the last couple of seasons - hopefully Lee Clark will be the man to galvanise the support again and the huge away followings will become the norm again - 4500 at blackpool, 1500 at cambridge, 2500 at brentford and 1500 at oxford on midweek evenings - fabulous and at the time a joy to travel and watch!!!! One thing that hasnt changed though - pre-wembley clips of loads of fans travelling to and milling around wemberlee, kids with facepaint on and family groups singing ..........................and jimmymac outside the ground ratted with a can in his hand!!!!(Top hair as well fella!!) Feel all rejuvenated again after that rubbish on sat - UTT

Not a great lover of the 'Warnock Way' of playing the game if I'm honest but you're right about the excitement and the pride in the club that the Wembley play-off season generated. That away following at Blackpool in particular was truly awesome.
But I hope I never have to see another Wembley Play-Off, I waat to see two automatic promotions next. People might laugh but if we can get the momentum going at this club the sky's the limit!
AceT ;D
