Having got great replies to my Lee Clark thread, let me try this on for size.
Do you think that hiring Lukas on loan was a mistake or a stroke of brilliance?
If you think the former, do you think that Lee should just admit his mistake and send him back, or do you think he is right to stand by him?
If you think the latter why do you think so?

Stroke of brilliance as he is another player that can be added to the regular worst player ever polls

Can he be sent back?
It hasn't been a good signing in practice, but on paper he appeared decent. He could've been the difference, unfortunately he hasn't been, but that's life. He was only a short term 'fix' and I think Clark will manage to get a much better striker(s) permanently.

The two options are ridiculous polar opposites. I don't think this thread is going to have the same "success".

Mistake, purely because its been obvious to everyone that Lukas clearly isnt cut out to be a professional footballer because of his apparent medical problems, but equally because regardless of that, he's not shown that hes interested as hes not put any effort in (his apparent medical problems aren't an acceptabe excuse for a lack of effort)

We were desperately in need of a striker and a 19 year old Premiership hitman with experience of this division exceeded all expectations. It looked like a no brainer win/win situation. He still has plenty to prove (HUGE understatement) and was offered the perfect stage upon which to show what he can do. Unfortunately he has proved to be a real sheep in wolves clothing. In retrospect it can be viewed as nothing but a stinking signing and I think its only our lack of attacking options that is keeping him here. Others might hold him in higher regard but I dont think anyone will come close to calling it "a stroke of brilliance". I would have shipped him off after the weekend because setting ability & attitude aside he acted like a disrespectful little prick when substituted. After the non-signing of Tehoe too I hope that Clark plays the perecentages and signs about a dozen strikers this summer to ensure that we end up with a couple of decent ones at least .

Whar are the "apparent" medical problems???
I think its a load of tosh but the fact I find it plausible shows just how inept the lads application is.

The lad will obviously be in the squad for saturday.... he looks so weak and unfit, worse than Jon Newby and he was absolutely appalling imo.
Clark seems to be getting us down to just having Boothy for a striker... with maybe cads with him.....
