i wouldn't gloat, but i'd be happy about it- cba going to brighton for another year, far too long, awful ground, plus if they stay up i can see them improving in the summer and being one of our challengers next year..

Brighton is an awesome place to visit and well worth making a weekend of. Give me a Brighton over a Crewe anyday!

I went to the Withdean once, I'll never go again.

Why are there no decent hotels in Huddersfield
Just a wild stab, but I'd say its probably because nobody actually WANTS to stay in Huddersfield. Ever.
things like the above on the Brightons forums make me want them to go down too

Never Paying £23 to sit 50 yards behind a goal in the open is not fun. Because of that Brighton is the only game I've missed this season. I'll go back there when the finally get their new ground.

If you came from Brighton and visited Huddersfield you would have a similar opinion. As much as I love my hometown.
Who actually would plan a visit to Huddersfield, what is there to visit really?

i feel sorry for Brighton fans. They have made loads of effort to get planning permission for a new stadium for years and kept getting knocked back time and time again. I cannot think of anything worse than going to watch football at their ground every other week.
On the other hand, if i had to pick who to go down out of Northampton, Brighton, Crewe etc, i would want Brighton cos i think they will be bigger and better next year (bit like Millwall were this year) whilst the other candidates will probably remain around the same level.

I hate Cheltenham for that; they are up there with Leeds and Sheff Wednesday for me.
They were cheering their heads off when they drew with us and prevented us going up automatically.

With all due respect Digwon, that comment seems pretty backward (unless I've misread something)...
How can they take the piss if they beat us. We're not fighting for anything so the result won't make a blind bit of difference to us...

We will win this saturday... Clark is demanding a show for the long suffering home fans, why the hell should we do anyone any favours.... nobody ever ever does us any ! 3-1 to the terriers.

This is normally the kind of game that Town roll over and die. If you're fighting for promotion or need the points to stay up then the first thing a team will do is look out for Huddersfield Town in the fixture list

Don't Cheltenham hate us though? Because we were so arrogant during our relegation to League 2. By pointing out that we shouldn't be in a position where we had to look out for the results of teams like them. .

I really hope we sent them down. Their ground is an absolute sh*8te hole. That I could generally accept except for when I visited in 2002 they were charging away fans almost the highest price for tickets in the division yet had facilities that TBH the football league should never have allowed them to have for a football league club. Basically they were ripping the arse out of away supporters and the FL were allowing them to do it. When we played them they were justifying admission prices by pleading poverty yet they had Junior Lewis on loan from Premiership Leicester City (at no doubt a high cost) whilst that very week we had had to sell our player of the (previous) season for next to nowt (Craig Armstrong). However the price we charged them for the Mac's facilities was a fraction of what they charged us for sh8*te. On the way down that day I heard a phone in on Radio Sussex (or whatever) about their new ground. Given what has happened since it was hard not to escape the conclusion (based on that phone in) that they got EVERYTHING THEY DESERVED for treating the local residents in a high handed disrespectful arrogant way. Brighton have got away with murder over the years because they are treated very favourably by the London based media (who enjoy their days out to the South Coast). Their ground is nowhere near fit for league football and when they were battling with Hereford to stay in the league any other club but them would have faced much harsher penalties for crowd disturbances at their ground. Arrogant Southern (insert expletive of your choice). (Now breathe and have a beer to relax )

I cannot think of anything worse than going to watch football at their ground every other week. Preparation of the site for their new ground at Falmer started some while ago. They have one, possibly two, seasons more at Withdean. I hope Brighton stay up because it's an easy trip for me. Our son lives and works in Brighton having gone to Uni there. We go regularly to see him and always make a day of it when Town play there. I still hope Town beat them next w/e though!

All I want to see is Town win, if it sends them down that so be it, 1 game doesnt decide if you get relegated. Also I'm fed up of seeing other teams celebrating at Town's last home game of the season!!
