If the mood strikes im going straight for match ball.
Also, to add to rumour mill, i've heard rumours of Peter Clarke (Southend CB) and Stephen Dobie (Queen of the South CF). Both free agents in summer.

Why the hell would anyone jump on the pitch when we haven't done anything?
Automatic promotion - maybe? Last game at old ground - yes.
Boothy will want to come out and clap the fans so can the chavs please not run on the pitch. You'll be booed if you do 'cos we'll be ashamed of you.

I assume the players will be doing a lap of honour to thank the fans for their support?
Seeing as i'm sat in a box for the game hopefully i'll be able to have words with Mr Davy assuming he turns up.

stupid to even suggest it-we've done nothing, theres no reason to have a pitch invasion, and you'll have no chance of getting the match ball and just be booed by your own fans

anyone that goes on the pitch usually gets a loud chorus of boos from town fans (its not like theres a reason to go on the pitch anyway)

Yep. I see the point if the club achieved something (i.e. promotion). Peter Clarke and Stphen Dobie, anyone heard anything?

Pitch invasions are pointless and embarrasing when we have not achieved anything. When we win the league next season, perhaps ;D

Davy must be wetting himself that Boothy has announced his retirement. It deflects all the attention away from him, the old git.

People can boo all they want, it'll be first amount of noise they'll have made all season all because people want a buzz. People can do what they like IMO.

Why would you go on the pitch when you know it's Boothy's last ever home game? No doubt he will want to have a lap and show the crowd his appreciation, and likewise the crowd would love nothing more than to do the same to Boothy. He is a club legend who deserves that amount of respect we can hopefully give him after the game. If you jump on, in your fake Burberry hat, and it affects Boothy's farewell after the game...well then you sir; are a first class tosser.

i went on the pitch last year because i wanted to. who cares if anyone boos? i av been to every game this season so if someone wants to boo i will just piss on there bonfire the part timers if you can give 1 good reason for going on the pitch, then good luck to ya-there is no good reason to do so, theres no need to, we havent done anything worthy of it such as winning promotion, and basically you'll just look like a bit of an idiot running on the pitch for no actual reason-still, if it means the players and boothy in particular cant do a lap of honour thanks to people like you, then well done you (note the sarcasm) and i hope you enjoy looking like an idiot by doing so
