Stonewall penalty - how can you moan about that!?
The messing about with the linesman is poor yeah but thats what they are there for at the end of the day - to assist the referee.

The ball was going in and hit his arm. How's that not a penalty?

Ya missing the key points.........
1) The ref stood face on from six yards away didn't think it was a penalty.
2) The lino waved his flag about it from the side of the pitch with a side on view.
3) The ref asked him if it was a penalty and the lino said 'i think so' and it was given.
4) Kozluk had a red mark on his ribs from being hit by a shot he had no chance of getting out of the way of.
5) The ref has an history of making stupid decisions including one in a game of yours.
6) The ref is 25 and it was only his second championship game ever. He shouldn't have been given a game with so much riding on it.

We had a bad one given against us when we played Southend the other week. There is no way that Tom Clarke could have get out of the way, his hands were down by his side and the ball was hit straight at him. On the other hand stone wall penaties are regularly not seen by referees. They are inconsistent whatever age they are and there is nowt anything can be done about it, because the game wouldn't be possible without them. It's bleep annoying though.

IF your arm is out and it stops the ball it should be a penalty. It was a clear penalty for Coventry, as it was when Clarke handled against Southend.

So how did he end up with a red mark on his ribs if it hit his hand

The referee did initially get it wrong but then stood up and accepted the right decision from the linesman.
Is it just me that takes "i think so" as a yes?
A referee who uses the assets that he has and accepts when he may not have seen something is by far better than one who doesnt believe he gets it wrong and ignores the linesman.
Oh and the statement about the ball hitting his ribs comes from an absolutely unbiased person who is not fighting to keep their job then and not the manager?

Maybe unfortunate, but a whole season does not rest on 1 decision, or 1 game. You've had 45 other games to get yourself out of this situation

Yeah sorry, Rob Kozluk says it hit his ribs so it must have done Funny then that on skysports news he had his arms blatantly in front of him and it clearly hit his arm.

Maybe his ribs had a 'sympathy' mark?
