Was apparently offered the chance to be involved in the 16 tomorrow and get a send off from the fans, but has declined. Shame really, would be nice to see him play one last time. www.htafc.com/page/PreMatchComments/0,,10312~1637955,00.html

Very poor attitude IMO and sounds like he has spat the dummy out Dons tin hat

I think thats a bit harsh, he probably just didn't want a fuss made, especially on Boothy's last home game.

Maybe, but if he didnt want a fuss made wouldnt it have been better if he agreed to be in the squad. Seems to be making an issue of it by declining to be in the squad

100% professional attitude by Worthy. Wants to be at the club and in the team on merit and doesn't want to deflect from Boothys big day....

Worthingtons decision to politely decline is not spitting his dummy out at all.
It is a mark of the guy he would rather be in the squad on merit. Fair play to him.
He will get a great send off from all true town fans at the lap of honour after the match for the commitment he has shown.

Very poor attitude IMO and sounds like he has spat the dummy out Dons tin hat Last night at the Halifax meeting Sean Jarvis indicated that Worthy was purposely wanting to keep things low key, he is not retiring, and it is Boothys day, so imo he is not being a s**t at all, actually quite a gentleman about things. he should be given credit not a kicking.

all the players who've played this season will take part in the lap of honour-fair play to worthy, he could have said yes, but if he only wants to be in the 16 on merit then fair play to him for declining the offer

I hope/think that Worthy will probably do the Goalden Gamble draw at HT. It gives him the 5 minutes for fans to wish him all the best which he richly deserves...

Am not a big Worthy fan but can understand his decision - he would be daft to run the risk of injury so close to the seasons end when he will be busy looking for pastures new. Fully deserves a round of applause for his efforts and hopefully that will be the case either at half time or at the end. Will be the end of an era at this club from tomorrow and in the summer with lots going and many new ones arriving - hopefully we will get the right ones in to push us upwards.

I personally agree with those who say he is being professional about things. He has opted to let Boothy have his moment and he deserves respect for doing so.
Well done Worthy.

You have to say Worthy is total credit to himself and his family
No idea when he joined Town but I would bet he's been at the club about 15 years given he's now 26, so Town will have been a massive part of his life
The bloke always gave 100% (you can't ask for anymore) and I'm sure when he returns next season with his next club he'll get a well deserved round of applause
All the best to a fantastic player who helped restore the pride in our club following admin and relegation

Maybe he might figure at orient, that way he's not taking away from boothy to the same degree.
