Legends? None. Cult Heroes? Plenty Phil Starbuck, Iain Dunn, Tom Cowan, Darren Bullock, Barry Horne. Thats spot on. Rocket Ronnie Jepson must make the cult list though.

For this exercise- I am excluding Frank Worthington and Denis Law, as they are probably most famous for activities not connected with Town What do you mean? Frank was a legend even before he left Town! Whilst I followed his career with great interest afterwards, he could have retired the day he left us and he would still be the biggest legend to pull on a Town shirt in my time. Guess you had to have seen him to know what I mean.

Guess you had to have seen him to know what I mean. It's hard to imagine that there will ever be a more legendary player than Frank Worthington at Town. Ray Wilson, Jimmy Nick, Marcus Stewart and now Boothy have been fantastic players in my time as a spectator, but things like Frank trapping the ball with his arse on a muddy pitch, just for a laugh, in open play, as well as being the best player on the pitch every game, solidifies his legenderiness for me.

Buxtons Boys, everyone of em, when the club was on its knees pootling around in the lower reaches of the fourth they got hold of it and pulled us out of the mire and restored some pride back into HTFC
Scunny at home night match when we clinched promotion takes some beating

Has to be Ray Wilson and Jimmy Nicholson!
BECAUSE: Raymond Wilson was simply the greatest full back - EVER! When full backs were specialist defenders NO ONE went past him! A son of Huddersfield and a World Cup medal winner! Say no more!
BECAUSE: Jimmy Nic was an absolute midfield captain fantastic, genius player. When Jimmy was on song there was no finer sight, it was like watching ballet dancing. God I loved the man! His hat-trick at Coventry City was total perfection and will live in my memory for ever.
