Quite rightly, Sir Andrew of Booth is referred to as Legend, but who else (in terms of HTFC) would you consider a legend?
For this exercise- I am excluding Frank Worthington and Denis Law, as they are probably most famous for activities not connected with Town
Also, I want to stick to the last 40 years, so no Billy Smith, Clem Stephenson and the like
(As an example - who would the general football fan on the street name (ask yourselves the same question about the likes of oldham/tranmere - not many to go on !!!)
My personal choices are Mally Brown and Mark Lillis though these aren't anywhere near my favourite players

Personally I wouldn't consider anyone else a legend, Boothy is the only one I've seen play, and I don't think you can refer to someone as a legend unless you've seen them in the flesh.

Difficult to name any legends other than the aforementioned. However, in their own little way Tom Cowan and Darren Bullock will always be town legends to me - spirit and passion exemplified !!

And several others from that Warnock era for me - Dunn, Scully, Jeppo. Not the greatest footballers but for effort, passion and commitment they are right up there. I'll always have a soft spot for Iffy too. Not legendary but pretty close to it. But I think Jacko would be one that non-Huddersfield fans might think of - terrific player, fan favourite and then two succesful spells as manager.

Clem Stephenson, George Brown, Billy Smith and Ray Wilson all might have been but I doubt many of us know enough to be able to call them "legends". Oh, and Fola Onibuje

The best player I've personally ever seen play for Town is Jimmy Nicholson. But a legend? Likewise Marcus Stewart. IMO, Boothy is a legend, but he's definitely not the best player I've seen pay for Town. Being a great player for Town and being a legend for Town are not necessarily synonymous.

Always a difficult one to answer, but, My choices Jimmy Nicholson, for the way he inspired and lead the team Alan Starling, for nothing other than his drinking qualities and bearing his hairy arris ;D

Peter Jackson and Gerry Murphy, although neither IMO are legends like Boothy Honourable mentions for Jon Dyson, Jon Worthington, Tom Cowan, Marcus Stewart, Nathan Clarke, Andy Holdsworth, Ronnie Jepson, Darren Bullock, Jon Stead, Steve Jenkins, Kevin Gray, Simon Charlton, Ian Dunn, Iffy Onura, Chris Lucketti (mark one), Simon Trevitt, Graham Mitchell, Danny Schofield, Nico Vaesen, Chris Marsden, Iwan Roberts, Chris Billy, Grant Johnson, Paul Dalton, Ben Thornley (the on loan version), Rob Edwards, Wayne Allison, Neil Warnock, Steve Harper, Phil Starbuck … I reckon that covers it for now

Tom Cowan and Rob Edwards, are two of my Town heros.
Darren Bullock deserves a special mention, I wasn't at the Swindon game when he put the Town shirt on and did a lap of honour........ but those were the actions of a true Town great.

The only player I have seen who would come close to being classed as a legend would be Frank Worthington.
I loved watching Les Chapman and Dick Krywicki. Later, Mally Brown, Brian Stanton, Dave Cowling, Ian Robins, Steve Kindon (that whole team really) and recently Marcus Stewart , Ronnie Jepson and Tom Cowan.

Jimmy Glazzard for me as first choice and Jimmy Nicholson as second choice. I shall never forget Glazzard's 4 headed goals against Everton in the 8-2 Easter win.
From my dad's time George Brown of course would be number one.

Jon Stead and Marcus Stewart, although I wouldn't call them 'legends'. More like cult heroes or in my eyes, idols.
