I for one think he could do a great job in League 1. He's scored well in the Championship, so why not?

Agreed. Be decent to have at this level. Depends whether or not Lee Clark see's him as a type of player that we need though

Jesus, not this debate again! Yes, in a heartbeat. The only reason any doubters come up with is because he's played for us before -absolute shite, what difference does that make? If we were linked (not that we are linked with Stead) with anyone else that scored 10+ goals in the Championship those same people would be wetting themselves.
