After spending over an hour looking for prices to get to London for next Sat but then deciding not to go I thought I'd share what I managed to find.
The best IMO (if you can get dropped of at Shef) is
Shef - Kings Cross 9:54-12:15 £16 St Pancreas - Wakey 18:15-21.13 £22 Wakey - Hud 21:29-22:05 £2.65
If you can't get to Shef then this seems ok (tho not much time for drinking).
Wakey - Kings Cross 9:33-12:41 £18.50
There still other fairly cheap options available, but I'm not sure when the advance fares will be pulled.
I know there are a few other thread on the go about this but I just wanted to get some use out of the looking I did.

There not bad prices for a Saturday. If you get to London for 12:15 and then on to Leyton for about one! you should have time to sample a gallon of London Pride.

As a regular traveller from Hudds to the Big Smoke I advise buying tickets ASAP! They only sell a VERY limited number of cheap advance tickets and once they have been sold the prices escalate ridiculously.
For my tickets to home games coming up from London I had to plan two months in advance to get decent prices. Buy them NOW before they become £50 per single!
