Vote for most improved player. From Pugsley Addams to decent left back in half a season. Would have loved it if his effort had gone in - great technique.

Yeah great shot but I thought he was really poor today He got most attacks going today and put some quality balls in that no one even attacked. Plays some quality passes

Yeah great shot but I thought he was really poor today Glad you said that, Ianster. Quite a few on here rated his performance today. Apart from his shot that hit the bar I thought he had a very poor game. Caught out of position a few times, got roasted once or twice and often indecisive. Clarke played hell with him on more than one occasion.

I didn't think he had too bad a game today! One of those for me that didn't really shine besides that amazing shot but didn't do too badly, Infact today I would say only 2 players were poor imo... and that was Butler and Flynn, I think Flynn might have cost himself a future with us today.

Was thinking the exact same thing about Flynn myself!

No, no, no!!! lol
I think Robbie Williams was sound as a pound today, he was indecisive at times, but he always recovered, and he has got one hell of a shot on him! That's not the first time i've seen it this season, last week at Walsall and away at Leicester to name but a few!!!
Some of what Andy Ritchie said about Williams is seeming to come true, "He can turn the ball on a six-pence that boy..."

I hate Ritchie a lot but with some of his signings (Cads and Williams) starting to look good and the players we know he missed out on (Jason Scotland) I think he could have done so much better here had he shown the passion Lee Clark shows I think he could have gone far here but unfortunately the only passion he had was with Oldham, Man Utd and L**ds.

Yea, i think that with a bit of money Ritchie could have done really well, because he did make some fairly astute signings during his tenure. Jevons (good under Ritchie), Cadamarteri, Wallwork, Williams etc. He just wasn't an amenable character, had he being a bit more charismatic i think he may have lasted longer.

Back four played alright today, yeah the goals were a bit slack but compared to the shocking midfield display (T Clarke had a cracking 2nd half) the defense did alright. Kelly was MOTM and the others did their job. Williams had a solid game. Pity our midfield lost almost every 2nd ball.

Thought Robbie was very poor defensively today. He was at fault for a sitter they had in first 10 minutes (God knows how the guy missed it) and again for a similar one at start of second half. He was also 'marking' the guy who headed their first equaliser.

....And he gave away the corner with that attempted headed clearance....

williams has got better with each game that has gone since LC has taken over.
1st half williams and roberts linked up really well on left hand side. that crossfield ball to cads was awesome, pass of day.

Williams was fantastic going forward, picking up Smithies quick balls and getting the attacks going. Defensively he was all over the place though!

Although it does constitute an improvement Williams has only gone from "absolutely shocking" to "very average" in my eyes. The left back position is still a weak point I'd like to see improved this summer.

Most improved is Smithies by a country mile.

Most improved is Smithies by a country mile. Smithies' distribution was top class!

I'm still a bit concerned we could end up with Skarz and Williams as our only LB options next season, could be a weak spot.

Turning into a very sound full back people seem to forget he,s still fairly young and inexpierenced, i expect him to have a good season next year

Williams is getting better and better. the back 4 was all over place y/day and really struggled (we let a team fighting relagtion score 2 past us at home) so its a bit unfair to pinpoint one defender for the poor defending as a whole! we was also missing goodwin who helps out with the defending!
Williams deserves to keep his place in 1st team unless LC can bring in a quality player. Would rather him spend money on a striker etc!

Williams was fantastic going forward, picking up Smithies quick balls and getting the attacks going. Defensively he was all over the place though! I'd agree with that, though not helped by Butler's eratic distribution y'day. Definitely most improved player through the season. As for flynn, he showed excatly why I've been completely bemused over this get flynn in, he's god etc on here. Couple of good touches and a few excellent forward runs early on but faded, gave the ball away too much, looked leggy, can't remember one tackle.

Owusu seemed a bit of a handful for our centre backs in the 2nd arf, Clarke was struggling against him imo !
