Thanks for the upload Chaz. That is the first ever and no doubt last ever time I have seen Andy Booth actually take a penalty!! To be honest, I'm not surprised he didn't take more. Now Tom Cowan's penalty... almost took the crossbar off. But overall a hugely enjoyable and successful day for the Town. Very well done everyone who were involved. Hopefully this will become a yearly fixture down at Town.

How would you define successful? for a centenary LEGENDS game surely they'd have expected more to be there, alot more turned up for the survival trust match. I cant see the club having made much money out of this when you take out what they'll have had to pay to stage the game plus catering, stewarding (if there was any).

I define successful as the level of entertainment on the show, the fact that it gave the opportunity of regular everyday people to play on the Galpharm pitch, etc. Besides the amount of money that the fans paid to play today, in my opinion, I think we would have broke even, or there or there abouts. The fact is this game was never going to attract a similar number of supporters than the Survival Trust match. Today was purely a day of enjoyment, not saving the club. Purely pleasure today, not business. Granted I expected to see a few more fans down today and was slightly disappointed by the numbers on show. HOWEVER it was definitely their loss as I had as much entertainment today than I have for at least 75% of home games this season.

I didnt go today, i worked last night and now again tonight so had to sleep at some point. I really think the marketing/ advertisement department missed a trick today with this one, apart from bidding to play in the morning match up until about wednesday not much information was really available about the game and i think maybe that was the reason so few turned up. I think if as you suggested it to be made a yearly thing more advertising needs to be done to make it a success
