Won't happen. Who would vote for it? Assuming that initially Rangers and celtic struggle but eventually due to fanbase, one or both of them, become a 'challenging' prem club. Why would Man utd or Arsenal vote to include them? It would just make them less likely to win things or qualify for europe. Why would 2nd group clubs vote for it like Villa Everton or Spurs? It would make them less likely to break into top group or qualify for europe. Everyone else would be more likely to get relegated so why would they vote for it. Extra income? Well visiting sections at most grounds are largely full anyway.( everton won't make anymore money by having 3000 celtic fans than they will from 3000 Stoke fans) But they will have massively increased policing bills. Remember the last time rangers played a competitive game in England? Mass riots in manchester. ironically Bolton in the Championship only get around 13-14000 even when they're doing well. That idiot Garside should remember that. They were down to 4000 when they went to div 3 in the 80s. Typical of these tin pot chairmen to come out with this garbage. What they want is a closed shop without relegation or promotion. The last overweight tosspot chairman who tried to get this to happen was fat slug Richmond. Once City were promoted to the premier he tried to pull up the ladder behind them, and look where they are now. Thank god the gross self-publicising clown is out of football.

Why don't they just stop f*cking about with the league? Some people still haven't got their head round the fact that it is League 1 now and not "Division 3". It's a nightmare trying to explain footballing history to your kids: Dad: "When we were in the first division....." Son: "But we're in Division One now dad." Dad: "I mean when we were in the proper first division, which is now called the premiership. Then they made division two the first division, although they have now changed that to the championship, so we are now in the division three, I mean one.... uh...."
