If the Norwich Vs Reading match is anything to go by then the standard of championship football looks pretty ordinary to be honest. Here are two teams who should be really up for this match, but the standard of football is dross.
Honestly, i often complain about the standard of league 1, but ive seen a few championship matches this year and they never impress me that much.

Birmingham are fresh out the Premiership and are second in the League. They are also crap. Wolves aren't great and they won the Championship.

0-0 at the break. Same score at St James' as well. Both those sides are crap too.

Newcastle: now there is a club that has for years been staffed by muppets who shell out amazing sums of money on over rated players / big name players, without thinking how they will fit into the side, and whether they have the qualities needed to improve the balance of the team.
those fans deserve much better.

Why? for supporting a massive premier league club and watching top quality sides week in week out? Why does anyone deserve anything for that? I love it when "big " clubs f*ck it up!

I thought he had a good game to say how big a step up it was. I thought that Gow seemed to mess up everything they had.

The difference in quality between League 2 and say Hull/Bolton is smaller than the difference between Hull/Bolton and Man Utd.

The gap between the top four and the rest of the Prem is fairly big as well, despite Villa's so called attempts at breaking into it.

The defending for Shane Long's first header was appalling. He doesn't look the biggest to me but still managed to just hold off a centre back and glance a good header into the corner.
With defending like that, Norwich don't belong in a division above League 1.
