Just wondered if someone could explain the pre season friendly at Corby to me? Teams normally play smaller local teams. Corby is about 120 miles away, hardly local.
We have had quite a bit to do with Gateshead and Wakefield lately so I can understand that.
Are we signing someone from Corby or has Clark got contacts down there? Just seams a little odd!

All the players and staff will receive a free trouser press.

they just got promoted to blue square south. doesn't appear to be anyone special. got a 21 yr old upfront who has scored 19 goals this season. surely not!

With the amount of traveling we have to do next year it is surely a good thing that the players may have the opportunity to adapt to the different prematch techniques used by Clark.
I think its a good call and can see a little reasoning behind it.

corby just fancied playing a smaller club than themselves! ......but unfortunatly for them the "champions of europe" couldnt afford the cost of staying over in Corby for the night.

When was the last time Town played Coventry??? In a proper game - League Cup Second Round in 1977, we lost 2-0. We played them out in Ibiza in 2005 and lost that 1-0.
