Just looking at his stats on Soccerbase:
85 goals on 204 starts, not a bad record
His record at Yeovil is amazing (42 in 80 starts)
What has gone wrong for him at Town?
Could he still do a job for us?

You never know if he gets a decent pre-season. Last year he was pretty much totally ignored by Stan. He is very much a confidence player, I still think he has some talent*.
*Please bear in mind that I didn't see any games from October onwards last season.

No.
His whole career is made from a couple of good seasons at Yeovil.

Don't think he ever got his confidence back after been in and (mainly) out of the team at the start of the season. Shame as he'd looked decent the season before.
Maybe he could rediscover his form, but he had plenty of chances with us in the first couple of months Clark was here, plus the loan spell at Bury, and he didn't improve. Certainly can't rely on him next season, and would probably be best all round if he could find a new club.

Could he still do a job for us? I've always liked Jevons, but I don't think that he is an out and out striker, he's never going to lead the line. I'm pretty sure that most of his goals for Yeovil came from him playing in a wide left position and ghosting into the box. He's skilful and a good finisher, but unfortunately, I don't think that his particular strengths are what Clark is looking for. He played best for us under Richtea's stewardship. I think he needs to be a big fish at a smaller club, where they will play to his strengths. And, I think that his confidence is shot at the moment. He needs to feel loved. It's a shame.

No. His whole career is made from a couple of good seasons at Yeovil. That's not what his statistics suggest - taking out his 42 in 80 starts for them that still leaves 43 in 124 starts elsewhere. Still not a bad return but then Town fans have already made their minds up about him so he doesn't stand a chance here. For his sake as well as ours i hope he finds another club soon.

Prefer him to Parker but would be mightly disappointed if he was in the starting 11 at Southend!

Half of those are probably penalties, and he cant even score them anymore! He has had every opportunity to 'do a job' and has failed miserably here.....no excuses in my opinion. We cant wait around in the hope he decides to make an effort and re-find his 1 in 3 goal scoring ability.......Time to go imo..

Wasn't he decent for Grimsby also? Not to the extent he was at Yeovil (where a fan has made a compilation of his goals in his honour) But then you also have to say, how many chances do you give a player who hasn't cut it at your club and doesn't look as interested as other players when he gets chances. His record for us is terrible and thats what should count to the manager - it isn't working here. He did 2 good things last season - goal away at Leicester and the link up play with Roberts for Roberts' goal at home to Hereford (I think?) The fact he got loaned out to a division below what he permanent club is at, in his late 20's suggests thathe isn't good anough for us.

All Ill remember him for is being the weakest, softest, player ive ever seen play for Town. I wouldn't risk money on him in a 50/50 tackle with one of the cheerleaders. On the basis that 'anything' is better than 'nothing' , id have parker well ahead of jevons. The sooner we ditch the waste of space , the better.

Unfortunately we are in a situation where he and Parker are likely to be squad players here or out on loan next season due to their current wages. I will be stunned if any other club can persuade them to sign this summer. Oh at least next June we can release them along with Lucketti, Flynn and Glennon. ;D ;D ;D Others that will be out of contract are Roberts, Collins, Williams and T.Clarke (if WE choose not to exercise the club option for a further year). After the transfer window I expect us to start negotiating extensions for Roberts and Collins depending on performances.

Sadly though for 18 months was as energetic as Lukas Jutkiewicz...

Gets far too much stick on here, but nobody can deny he had chances post stan's exit which he didn't do enough with.

Too much stick? I think he gets off very lightly. I dread to think of the amount of stick certain other players would get if they were as consistantly shite as jevons has been.

I don't think confidence has anything to do with it.... Jevons has completely lost any sharpness that he had when starting with us. His movement, twisting, turning and all round play has turned incredibly slow and wooden and he's simply not quick enough anymore to do the job at this level. Whether it's a career burdened with injuries catching up with him, lack of fitness/sharpness or application i'm unsure of.
Jevo is the wooden man.
