Current rumours I have heard from town fans if we go up. Neil Danns, Kevin Phillips, Sean St Ledger, Chris Martin, Adam Le Fondre, Danny Ward loan, Benik Afobe loan. Also heard that Michael Owen is thought to be involved in deal for Alex Smithies. Let me make it clear that these are rumours I have heard and not my words.

Owen would be great but i dont think his heart would be in it, he couldnt be arsed playing for Newcastle most of the time and i think he prefers his horse racing to actually playing these days, Super kevin phillips on the other hand would definatly give it his all in every game so he is one player i would love to pull on a town shirt!

I'd be surprised if we had the purse for Owen, he'd be quality though at championship level I reckon.

Did you get these from that Transfer Rumours site? ;D Danns and Martin would cost about 3m each As for Owen... :shake: - he's out of contract and can't be used in any deal. I've not really heard many whispers... Think the Cody McDonald one could have some legs.

Michael Owen...
Massive wages + very injury prone + no hunger = Premiership mercenary
IMO of course
Just dont think hes the kind of player that A) we could afford or B) Lee Clark would be interested in.
Can see him going to a Stoke or Sunderland maybe

Sign Colgan for another year as 3rd choice keeper. Sign a pacey CB. Sign a LB. Sign Damien Johnson. Sign someone like Boyd. Or maybe even Drinkwater. Sign Ward. Sign Afobe. Sign another striker like MacDonald. And we are staying up :celebrate:

HTAFC Twitter: Lee has also confirmed he is 'ready to strike' regarding signings, but the focus is very much on Sunday!

How will we see different names? Go through loads of pages looking for new names?? I can understand having one page for each name but one page for a full close season? It great during the summer come on and seeing different names being linked.

I believe he will be able to attract very good playaz for us, after all he's not done too bad so far has he (Kilban 109 Caps, Naysmith 49 caps) and were in the third division, also Championship clubs were chasing Ward and Coine chose us to loan him to because of what Clark is doing here........If we get promoted on Sunday I think it will be a very exciting time this Summer in the transfer market

CB but not mirfin, a new LB as we jsut can't rely on Naysmith.
I also think we need a CM, the engine room never give up type.
Would like afobe and Ward back aswell.

centiment in football is nice but best left out of it to be successful

Pretty sure Clarky will have names in mind it just depends which divsion where in if we go up I really think we could attract some class players although think we may only sign 4 or 5 players but thats all we need......as HRN said the Cody McDonald rumour could have some legs apparently we were interest before he went to Norwich and with them just signing Vaughan and trying there best to get Morison from Millwall he wont be needed there!!

Serious questions here...what would be the target for next season if we did go up? I think just looking to stay up is a bit pessimistic after 28 games unbeaten..though having said that its still obviously the first aim.
Couldnt see any huge name signings but still get in some very good players.
If we stay down hopefully we can pretty much keep this squad together with an odd tweak (like at centre back)

Would welcome Jason Pearce from Bmuf but not sure about ALF from Rotherham. Damian Johnson is a must.
