Can I just say that your little bit about getting into europe at the bottom is wrong lol! I'm sure that both teams in the FA Cup final get a place in the UEFA Cup. I may be proved wrong though!

I thought only the cup winners get into europe now and the runners-up don't, even if the winners have qualified elsewhere? Could be wrong, but it's of no relevance to Town anyway ;D

I thought that the winner got a UEFA Cup spot, and the runner up got nothing, however GENERALLY it doesn't work like this as the F.A Cup winners are generally already in the Champions League or UEFA Cup due to League achievement. Like when Man United played Millwall in the final a few years back, Millwall got into the UEFA Cup. Generally the F.A Cup winners are one of the big four I suppose, so the runner up gets the UEFA Cup spot instead. In the last 10 years these are the F.A Cup winners - 1998 - Arsenal 1999 - Man United 2000 - Chelsea 2001 - Liverpool 2002 - Arsenal 2003 - Arsenal 2004 - Man United 2005 - Arsenal 2006 - Liverpool 2007 - Chelsea. Presumably these teams will have already qualified for Europe in the years that they won the F.A Cup so the runner up would get the UEFA Cup spot. I'm sure this is generally the case and has been for a long time, but if the winner's not already in Europe, it's only them who gets a place in the UEFA Cup. Andy.

And if say chelsea, man utd and arsenal and ourselves make the semis, do we get the uefa cup spot?

Kilroy, think it's only the finalists that get considered for europe if the winners have qualified by other means. The 'extra' Uefa cup spot would get given to the premier league.
