Best of luck Lee Clark. I hope some of the numpties that 3 Pipe mentions are spitting out their cornflakes this morning. LOL do you think Lee Clark getting the Birmingham job justifies any argument? not a chance! did you see the shortlist?

Ha, I can tell you're both choking on your bile over this appointment. Have a nice day gentlemen. how can you? this appointment justifies nothing (just look at the shortlist, anyone with a bit of sense stayed well clear), if he goes in and does a job ill hold my hands up but i think he'll behaving like a petulant child within weeks. He thought oggy asked him too hard questions here!!!!! Brum is too big for him and with the issues they have, it will be even harder. the only thing going for him is a not too bad a squad of players to start with but a few playaz will soon see to that! if you go back to when he was sacked my comments were "if he goes away admits his mistakes and learns from them and rediscovers his footballing principles he can still be a good manger" i just dont think for one second he thinks he did anything wrong here and his media output after his sacking said as much. What i cant stand is the delusion that he did well at town and loved us like we were his first born, it simply isnt true! he failed epically considering the resources and was found totally wanting everytime the pressure was on and couldnt wait to jump ship when he knew he couldnt finish job and his stock was highish everywhere but in Huddersfield for run of draws.

Why any Town fan would want him to do well baffles me It'd only make his performance here all the more frustrating and annoying. Anyway, he's on a hiding to nothing there, but if he fails he'll have the excuse of no money. I hope Brum get relegated to be honest, but I would have even before they employed him! Oh and they are now 12 hours unbeaten under him, well done Lee !!

He failed here. I hope he fails at Birmingham too. What reason do you have for hoping he fails in another job? It's only natural to want all the other teams managers in our division to fail isn't it ? Baffled as to why some Town fans want him to do well .

Delighted for the man. He deserves a chance with a big club. If he keeps them in the championship he will have succeded in my opinion. Really looking forward to October 6th now (maybe Sky will be interested in a live game)

Just on bcfc online getting a season ticket Born and bred Huddersfield and generations going back, can you say the same ? Personally I'd have preferred to see him in Lge 1 or 2. All the muppets who thought he wouldn't get a job at this level shown up to be the clueless numpties they are. And you know who you are. Sign of the character of the bloke taking on the job in the first place. Ha ha is that a bite ? Actually Herbert Chapman is my great grandad and dean hoyle is my true father. I was born on Leeds road centre circle and am tattooed head to toe in town tattoos. Get out of that one rommel

Nobody has been shown up Bronco, you know as well as everyone else does that this appointment proves absolutely nothing except the incredibly dire and desperate situation birmingham are in. This will end badly for both parties involved, guaranteed

It proves that people were wrong to say that he would never manage above league One. It proves that he is held in such esteem that he has replaced a fantastic manager in Chris Hughton. It also proves that ''Gillingham is just about his level'' was a stupid statement.

Well if nothing else it suggests Clark is up for a challenge. I can't see how he can possibly be unaware of the problems at the club and will know the expectations of the fans. It's a big job for any manager, even those that have managed at a higher level than he has to date. Interesting to see how this one plays out.

He was the best of a bad bunch for a club that is completely crippled financially. I wish him well, but he hasn't succeeded by simply getting the appointment. The Championship is going to be a very difficult league next year (as it is every year).

LC has dropped on his feet! A decent break from the stresses of day-to-day management......sympathetic media reaction to his dismissal......a few well-paid media appearances.......and now getting the manager's job at a bigger club than Town.
Well done, LC......and good luck.

Who do we think he will have as assistants ? Or has the cash strapped BCFC already said who they are ? Wonder if he will take BBC Terry Mcdermott. So called as his traing "allegdly" contains bibs, balls and cones. :nodding:

Really looking forward to October 6th now (maybe Sky will be interested in a live game) Really? what has to done to ''deserve'' a big club? didnt he fail 3 seasons running with hundereds of thousands / Millions of pounds? cant see how he ''deserves'' it? anyhow, i dont have any ill feeling towards him as he is gone now so i wish him luck but not against us.

Well if it dosnt prove the first 3 things I wrote, the title of this thread is a little missleading I would suggest.

Made for each other.
Hope he fails again. For me, it couldn't be a better team for him to fail at.
