We've filed our accounts but the auditors don't believe all relevant information has been given, we contest that and the matter is on going. I don't think it's as bad as all people seem to be thinking though. We can sign players but we need the FA to approve of each transfer. Pannu has also said today we'll only sell key young players if it's stupid money (Butland and Redmond)
We've been desperate to get rid of Zigic since we went down but there's no takers, we'd allow a club to have him on loan or sell him for nothing if there was any takers... You can't really blame Zigic for taking advantage of the biggest wage packet he's ever going to get.

He'll mainly be dealing with Colin Tattum our local papers Blues correspondent. Not really one for an arguement, they'll get along fine. Then there's Tom Ross who does the radio and he arse licks anyone in charge of the Midlands football clubs. He was the only man defending the ginger scottish manager when Villa were failing miserably. As for the "Threatening 5 year old girls doesnt give you a big rep in the hooligan stakes." Stop nit-picking and why was there even a need to bring it up? You'll also meet many decent brummies again this season I just hope your ground isn't one of these generic bores with burger kings instead of pubs. Im sure things have improved in the recent years Midlands lad.....for what its worth, Hayley is now 19 and her boyfriend is a bluenose who lives in Worcester. She went to the Chelsea game with him at St Andrews last season (cup game) and loved it. We will be up there October 6th.

As mentioned earlier, it was B'hams result against Leeds that got Grayson sacked. If it wasn't for them he wouldn't have been available to take on the Town job and we would still be in lg1, we should be grateful Let's farm Alan Lee out and get Zigic in for a season's loan to partner Rhodes up front!

I've disliked Brum since they started doing that "WHO?" everytime someones name comes over the tannoy for Subs. If you have world famous players then fair enough but they did it to the top scorer in the league that season!!!

If you want to pay Zigics wages then we'll happily loan you him for as long as you like.
As for the WHO at least it's something original from fans, unlike most chants these days. It's pretty draining doing it when were losing a game though, it's like goal celebration music blasting out when you score a consolation.

Really? I mean REALLY? Nothing to do with Dean Hoyle's millions then? It's all down to Lee Clark, silly me, of course it is. Nothing to do with Simon Grayson either To be fair I put our playoff win or loss down to a certain Steve Simonsen. We were promoted by the finest of fine margins, had we failed would you have blamed Simon Grayson? IMO Dean Hoyle, Lee Clark and Simon Grayson should be thanked for their efforts in enabling us to get promoted but those with a biased viewpoint will deny this obviously.

Met some great Birmingham fans on holiday in Greece a few years ago and had a top fortnight in their company. Always had a soft spot for em since, for such a good sized club they've had some pretty shite times over the years and some absoloute clowns running the club.
All the best to Clark, no one can deny he gave it his all while here.

The appointment proves several things. it proves that Brum have confidence in Clark. It proves that people were wrong to say that he would never manage above league One. It proves that he is held in such esteem that he has replaced a fantastic manager in Chris Hughton. It also proves that ''Gillingham is just about his level'' was a stupid statement. :appl: :appl: Spot on.

Well if nothing else it suggests Clark is up for a challenge. I can't see how he can possibly be unaware of the problems at the club and will know the expectations of the fans. It's a big job for any manager, even those that have managed at a higher level than he has to date. Interesting to see how this one plays out. :appl: :appl: And this, what I said this morning.

Does she live in Birmingham malvern? The clue is in the name mate. It's 4 oclock so I can't pretend I was drunk  I've just never heard of malvern. I don't think i've ever ventured that way, is it nearer Gloucester than Birmingham?

Perhaps they've appointe him on low salary considering the state they're in. Or perhaps the standard of the other candidates was dire. By the way whos else applied for the post?

Our supposed shortlist was dire.. Containing the likes of Phil Brown, Roy Keane and Paul Ince. So Clark was the best of a bad bunch. Also good luck to your daughters boyfriend on converting her into a blue :appl: We win cup finals in the last minute at Wembley and go on european tours, along with plenty of promotion and relegations and the odd administration scare chucked it : : KRO

It doesn't prove that B'ham hold him in high esteem at all, do you honestly think they would appoint him if they weren't in crisis mode? Absolutely no chance. As has already been said, he is the best they could have hoped for, which says more about the state they are in than it does about LC's managerial 'ability' You really are one twisted, hate filled individual arnt you? Did Clark spill your beer or summat? Part of me wishes you could meet me, so you could see just how wrong you are. I implore you to trawl this board Mal and point out where I have ever claimed to hate LC, or words to that effect. All I have ever argued is that he is not a good manager, an opinion shared by a large majority of Town fans

If you have world famous players then fair enough but they did it to the top scorer in the league that season!!! So many different reasons not to like BCFC ( that`s another one I`d never even thought of before now - they`ve got the same initals as the small chickens from manningham ) the first time I went in the 80`s, one of the West Midland`s finest boarded our coach and although it`s nearly 30 years ago I can still remember his speech, word for word. "Right you f**king lot, you`re in the arsehole of the country now and if you so much as step on a crack in the pavement I will f**king nick you" I believe he has since retired from the force and now works for the West Midlands Tourist Board :nodding:

All I have ever argued is that he is not a good manager, an opinion shared by a large majority of Town fans Simply not true. Fact is, at 39 you'd be a fool to judge him in the way that you just did [not a personal comment] despite what you think of his time at Town. The financial argument has been well blown out of the water, the value of the squad he left with plus the money for Pilks, Pelts, etc far outweighs what he spent on players. He had us playing some good football and he made us hard to beat. He showed his inexperience at times and he went. He built the side that got us promoted, that should never be forgotten. No doubt he will have a few twists and turns yet in his career but to write him off at 39 is foolish in the extreme.

Wouldn't get carried away thinking the MINORITY of fans that post on here reflect the opinions of the majority. PS i'm now a Grayson fan. ;D

Best of luck to him.He by the sounds of it may need it.He certainly won`t have the luxury that Hoyle`s money allowed him.Just glad he now has finally got a job and then we can forget about him until we meet again. He`ll get a decent welcome.Love him to come in and take some of those fantastic players he bought off our hands?

Just Rhodes would do ta, were not evil enough to take all your top players.
Ian Bennett is a legend, will he feature regularly? Adored at the blues, was even clapping us during the game when he played for Sheff Utd against us in a league cup tie at Bramall lane.
