Instructions for placing Images in signature

1. First upload them somewhere. You can use www.photobucket.com or any of the ones listed below:

www.theimagehosting.com/
www.imagehosting.us/
www.imagecave.com/
www.imageshack.us/
www.imagevenue.com/
www.myspacephoto.com/
xs.to/
www.picshome.com/
www.loadpix.com/
www.imageviper.com/
picsplace.to/
www.villagephotos.com/

2. Note: You can also point to a image hosted on a website, although if that site changes or goes down you will be left with a sqare with the red x.

3. Open your profile

4. Under your username click the words "modify profile"

5. Place the img code from Photobucket in your signature. Use this one

"[IM G]http://images.icnetwork.co.uk/upl/ichuddersfield/mar2002/6/0/0005436D-0EE1-1C9A-90B280C328EC04E2.gif[/IMG]"

Result:



NOTE: Remove the quotation marks and the added space after the first M in IMG. I had to do the space in order for the code to show here.

6. You can arrange them however you like.

7. If the image is too large shrink it first either in photobucket or paint alternatively you can use www.fookes.com THANKS Q8Terrier

8. Click modify profile button at the bottom of the screen and you will be able to see what your signature looks like by scrolling down.

You need to put the url of the image between the [/img] brackets

its hosted on image shack and it doesn't show up on the image in that.

I don't see a problem with your siggy pic. What is it that you want removing?

Yes, I can see that but when I right click on the image and select view image it appears that the dimesion is part of the pic. I don't have an Imageshack account but I would assume it works in the same way as Photobucket. Maybe you need to save the pic to your PC, edit it, upload back to Imageshack then try linking to it again.
