I hope.
I was pleased that England were beat by Croatia, because,
1. it proved how poor England really are, how mercenary the players are and how delusional they are to believe the hype. 2. it ended in a realisation of these facts and the people at the top acted fast. 3. It proved how bloody inept (& corrupt) our FA actually are - fantastic idea to build a retractable roof that doesn't cover the whole of the pitch...
So, if Town lose 10-0 (in front of MOTD cameras), it might bring about a change far quicker than some can anticipate.
& it might highlight the state of the Town playing surface - I think that a few seasons of not giving it time to recover (i.e summer rugby), are taking their toll. I'm not against the Giants BTW, but I do think the surface looks as though its being made ready for some footings...
I also forgot to say it would also prevent delusions should we manage to scrape a draw or an honourable 1-0 defeat.
The club needs a short sharp shock & I truly believe that we will shortly see another major crossroads in this clubs history. This negativity is now too deeply entrenched and we should start to see some backfiring now!

the pitch on saturday against northampton clearly wast helped by hours of torrential rain during the night and during the day in the build up as well as during the game itself

we cant blame the pitch for the shoyt that we play you dont need grass on the pitch to hoplessly punt high balls to Boothy whether he is on the pitch or not, the grass is only needed when we play fast short passing football, wait a minute isnt that what AR prommissed could be the pitch then.

Jeez, you're a happy chap aren't you? You wouldn't go along hoping Town finally give us something to cheer about and give a Premier team a run for their money? A heavy defeat would do nothing to hasten any change.

No matter how bad a team is playing, you should always support them until its over and want them to win every game. I hope we thrash them 10-0. How the hell can you want your own team to lose?

How about we win the game in a replay - Take Man Utd to the wire in the next round at Old Trafford - Use the money to fund the signings of 3 decent players permanently along with a new coach which helps launch a late charge up the league culminating in snaking the final play off place on the last game of the season. Back in 2 ticks I'll just turn off my alarm....

yeah - like the Chelsea money was used to buy three new decent players.
if we drew MU you wouldn't see any benefit on the pitch, it might pay some of our neighbours loan back i suppose. Then they could get some new decent players. That's how it works isn't it?

United away is the dream for me in the 4th round, and yes before anyone asks, I would be in the away end, and would be having a beer or two with my Manc friends before the game whilst wearing my Town shirt.
In all honesty, just a good performance for 90 minutes on Saturday would be acceptable to me and if we are meant to win than so be it. Que Sera, Sera.

I was thinking when we took the lead, that's this thread scuppered.... 10-1 was the best I could hope for...
Fantastic result - chuffed to bits - lets hope some positivity returns to the club, good 4th round draw starts to make the donkeys really work for their places now and if it gets televised there is some more pressure on Davy to either buy someone or pay himself back a bit of that £600k he lent us?
