So Town are playing Birmingham tomorrow but to be honest i can`t be bothered to get a ticket or pay on the turnstiles. I`ve followed town home and away for over 18 years now, watched all the cup games but i can`t sum up the enthusiasm anymore. 280.00 for a season ticket and i`ve not seen one decent game this season, the atmosphere is flat and the crowds dwindling. What can we as town fans do?nothing because we have tried everything now. Altered the management apart from the coaching staff which i find strange. chairman doesn`t give a toss about the football he is probably looking forward to the rugby season beginning, well davy you can get stuffed from now on because you not having my money next season. The team is probably the weakest squad i`ve seen in ages. SORRY TOWN FANS TO BE ON A DOWNER BUT IVE HAD ENOUGH.

''Wonder what the general feeling will be if we beat Birmingham?''
Well, we'll never know the answer to that one, will we?

All you can do is have faith that one day it will be Town's turn for some sucess.
Look at Burnley, Blackpool, Scunny and Colchester. Similar in size (or smaller) to Huddersfield and all in the Championship.
Town will rise again my friend.

Am going tomorrow despite my morning rant PG!!!
Must be a glutton for punishment
To be honest other than Burnley I don't see Town anything like those sides
Tbh there's Premiership sides like Bolton and Blackburn I see of similar stature to us and teams like Wigan, Reading and Fulham I still regard as smaller.
We have the potential to be like any of those sides.
Although that's probably my blue and white tinted glasses clouding my view!

''Wonder what the general feeling will be if we beat Birmingham?'' Well, we'll never know the answer to that one, will we? Every year there are cup upsets, no matter how poor we have been there is no reason why it can't be us. It just needs that bit of luck on the day.

I would be going if they'd 'put up a bit of a fight and made us proud' in the last 3 games! Jeff Stelling in the pub for me and hopefully by 4.50pm i'll have wished i'd gone

We have got the potential my friend. It will happen one day The thing is if it does happen I reckon you'll enjoy it every bit if not more than when you watched Man Utd win league titles, having been a Town fan from the clubs lowest point and darkest days The words "Success" and "Town" aren't happy bedmates, just like "L**ds" and "fair play", but occassionally it does happen! I've seen Town in every league bar one, I live in hope I'll get to see them mix it one day in the Greed League! At least one thing Town give us though, a full rollercoaster of emotions!!!

HT it will happen one day, that i'm certain and as you say I will enjoy every bit of it and just as much if not more than my United days. They were good times and only yesterday someone e-mailed me the Bruce (sorry chaps) goals when United beat Wednesday 2-1 in 93 in about the 8th minute of injury time. Thats the one where Kiddo runs onto the pitch and goes mental, just like I did in the North stand. It's days like that you know your lucks in. We had only been following Town since 2001 so when the dreaded administration happened a feeling of 'oh f*ck' what have we done crept in, but stuck with them even during the famous 8 players on the first day of training episode. The reward came at the Millenium Stadium which was a great day out. One day they will be in the Greedy league it just needs the right combination to get us their. If Wigan can do it (Yes I know they have the JJB Chairman) with a poor fanbase, we have the potential. I have said all along this is AR's building season with a real crack at promotion coming next season. We ain't getting the run of the ball and have not done for a while, butt as the saying goes 'what goes around, comes around'. Keep the faith my friends.

I know we ain't Man United (that made me laugh), I was at O/T on New Years Day and was the only home supporter who left after the game p*ssed off as I had followed the town game through my phone. £26 to go to see Forest, they were having a laugh at them prices! Yes United will not in my lifetime bite the dust and drop into div 1 but 4 years ago who would have thought that a Champions League Semi-finalist would drop so rapid. Blackpool where sh*t not long ago and they ain't doing bad now.

To be honest I think the crunch will come next season. I think only 6000 or so will renew, if we do well (Ritchie or Davy have no excuse not to) the fans will come back and if we don't we'll be looking at gates of 5000ish. While i'm totally against Davy surely Ritchie deserves untill the end of next season as long as we're not relegated this season!

Unless we get someone with the sort of money Qpr seem to have, the best we can hope for is mid table championship, even if a season in premier was fluked it would be embarrassing like Barnsley, Watford and probably Derby this year! I wouldn't want that anyway. God we would be moaning then eh? What a stupid post, i've become detached from all reality, more Strongbow please

I agree, clubs seem too quick to hire and fire these days rather than give a manager time to build. I'm not going to harp on about United and I won't mention them again, but if the board at OT had sacked him (as rumoured) if he had lost the Forest game in the FA Cup than i'm pretty certain that 80% of the silverware would never have happened. Regardless of division its the same principle whoever you manage. Anyway roll on tomorrow, I'm looking forward to this and have been all week.

Crowd was a disappointing 13odd thousand but it felt like much more at times. Pride, Passion, Commitment and a deserved win. To all those that stayed away.... Unlucky, it was a good day to be a Town fan.

Unlucky, it was a good day to be a Town fan. How true, I felt the buzz just walking up from Jewsons after parking the car and as for inside the Galpharm for those last 10 minutes the atmosphere was electric. I'm still smiling now and waiting for Match Of The Day to begin. What's the betting they put the Everton game on first, than Blackburn followed by 45 minutes of Villa v United with 25 seconds of Town highlights just as the titles roll. You can see it coming

Them's the breaks As patronising as ever....and with hindsight I suppose we could all approach that level. There's plenty of ways for £15 to be better spent.....luckily today's game gave you value for money....shame the previous 12 home league games haven't!
