We are of course officially ace and going up as champions as I have been re-assuring you of all season.
Pabel Abbot is a big sulky pants, as are the whole of Darlingtons team in fact.

Four in the last three I think. He's cut down on the screamers though, someone must have told him you're allowed to score inside the box.
Edit: and Dale have still got to come to Griffin Park at the end of March - it's got Title Decider written all over it.

In the fleeting moments when I manage to forget the fact that the national team is a farce, the FA is an international joke, all footballers are loathesome mercenaries, SKY is evil and that all of us that continue to enable all of the above to live the life of riley by lining their pockets are gullible fools, then yes, I currently also agree that football is ace

Being told by Teddy Sheringham that "You are a facking caaannt" is very much mirth inducing. He's a bad loser who's now lost his touch along with the pace that he never had. Doesn't take kindly to being told as much.
If he wasn't at Layer Rd where you are three feet away he may never have known about it.

He was crap when he turned up at our place. Plus we're signing people left right and centre. It's all very good.

1 point better would make Dan the happiest Awagger on earth.
Is there any chance that Leeds are not going to finish in the top two oh Leagueoners? I've noticed that they have not been as dominantly dominant of late...

I find it odd that Bristol City are top and 14 points clear of us but have an identical goals scored and conceded record to us at 34 and 31. Are they in a false position or us?

Neither. We're just good at scoring goals and keeping clean sheets when it matters and you're not so good.
Before the start of the season I thought our two clubs would be the other way around with you challenging and us just above the drop zone simply because your attack was so good. However it seems I reckoned without the brilliance of Gary Johnson and the team spirit he's created.
We're not brilliant and we don't score many, but we're damned effective and play better football than most of the dross in this division (only West Brom and Ipswich have outclassed us).

Brizzle just seem to have found the art of consistency in a wildly inconsistent division
Hats off to Gary Johnson for that. Although the downside being a few under-performing prem teams must surely be glancing in his direction now?
Seems like everything is still to play for in the fizzy pop league
Cardiff were far and away the best team I've seen so far, but looking at their league position they're obviously not that good all the time

It's a worry, certainly, but Premiership teams don't seem to like getting managers from the lower leagues. I believe the only one in recent years has been David Moyes, which to be honest makes it seem even more ridiculous that they don't take a gamble.
If Johnson achieves the extremely unlikely and takes us up he'll have won promotions all the way from the Conference to the Premiership, albeit with two different clubs. Add that to the fact that he's been a fairly successful international manager and you have a pretty good CV. Add some Premiership experience* and he could be a serious candidate for the England job in a few years time.
*Probably not with Bristol City, but I can hope.

Oi Dan, you know when we had that row about Gary Johnsons son. I said he was a c*** you said he was setting the championship alight. Well, my sources tell me he is in talks with Bury. I've just realised that you were talking about Lee Johnson and I was talking about Bradley. Didn't realise there were two. That explains alot though.

Ah that makes a lot more sense now. I didn't know Lee had a brother.
P.S. Is it true you're signing Mark Beesley or is "Chris Vessey" a purveyor of messageboard nonsense?

No he is being genuine. Don't know why your fans got so angry about it. It's been doing the rounds at the Abbey for a couple of weeks, apparently he gets on very well with Lewer.
Is he any good?

Nobody gets on well with Lewer and Bees was terrible under him (as was everybody). He's alright. When he's on form he's a good link up player between midfield and attack, very creative, good at passing and scores a few too. The rest of the time he's fairly useless though. Could do a job in the league above but that's about it I think.
Losing him and Fleetwood would be a major blow.

They all seem to be getting on quite well at Plate! towers apart from big gay Leo, I don't think he gets on with anyone.

We need a creative forward to play alongside Rendell and Boylan, I can see why they are after him. We'll swap him for Leo if you like.
