I chose Berrett, him and Holdsworth looked solid in midfield and both deserve it, just that foul when the Birmingham player was about to pull the trigger swung me towards JB.

FAO andyeastleake: Of course people voted for players other than Holdsworth There were a number of candidates and I thought, how can Sinclair not get it because he was excellent all match and made some cracking tackles and interceptions all about opinions though aint it That is indeed the whole idea of the poll!

Glennon Never put a foot wrong all game Collins Stuck to his unfamiliar task very well. McShffery poor Sinclair Terrific anticipation. Looked really up for it in central defence unlike when he's at full back lwhen he can look a bit sulky Mirfin Really solid. Looks a lot more confident alongside Sinclair than when playing with Clarke. Williams Looked pretty solid, though exposed for pace for their goal. Great free kick for Brandon's header. Kamara OK when moving forward when his pace seems troublesome even for premier league defenders. But not got the control to jink back. Needs to put in some kind of challenge for headers. Brandon Terrific in first half . Set a really high tempo. Took goal really well. Impressive. Berrett Great debut. Did exactly the right thing for his booking. Holdsworth Fantastic. Everywhere. Best man on the pitch. Schofield Most skilful man on pitch. Ball stuck to his foot. Troubled them. Beckett Great performance. Showed energy I didnt know he had. Fought to the end. Scored. And put in superb cross for winner.

Has to be Andy H for his captains performance. Although I am a little surprised Mirf hasn't got a lot more credit, I thought he did well against Forsell. Apart from the goal when the middle of the back four seemed to go AWOL, I thought he was great.

Matt Glennon gets my Vote, Was superb, Commanded his area extrmley well, Was good in the Air and made some great saves.
Thought Sinclair had a stunning performance also, Was very solid, not much got past him through the middle.

Apart from the goal when the middle of the back four seemed to go AWOL, I thought he was great. I also thought the Holdsworth was absolutely outstanding on Saturday. Brandon wasn't far behind and a few others not far behind him, but definitely Holdsworth for me. The middle of the back four were running back from the other end, because Birmingham scored about 10 seconds after we had a corner. I particularly hate it when we concede breakaway goals from our corners.

Considering you've been doing it more or less since we moved to this site I don't see why we need anyone else.

Well it's been requested that I do the write up for this poll so I will, and then hopefully things will be back to normal with my MOTM polls by next match with me doing the poll too. WOO! Official DATM MOTM Pollster! Cheers. Andy.
