I'va always been keen on AH being captain in the past because of :
a) He shows genuine pride in playing for us. b) Talks and always encourages. Plus today I noticed at the beginning he was making sure we were organised and that we kept our shape. This was important especially since it was a new formation, and against high quality opponents. c) He leads by example.
I just hope we keep hold of him, as I believe that he is turning into a beaut of a midfield player.

Town through and through, always plays with his heart on his sleeve. If we can hang on to him i'd give him the arm band every game.

A great result and performance today lads. Im especially pleased for Luke and Chris who will do the business if they get a decent run in the side. Lets go for much greater consistency in the league now and put pressure on those above us as anyone can beat anyone else . It is a good feeling to be a Town fan tonight. More of the same now lads.

Yes, there was a point in the second half when Kamara blocked a clearence and Holdsworth clapped and praised him, thats exactly what we need now!

If ken davy has any kind of ambitious plan....rejecting any sort of bid for andy holdsworth should be easy to do.
He must be kept....and i agree with arnhem, heis turning into a brilliant midfield player.
I always said he could play there (i also remember the stick jacko got when he played him there a few times and what ritchie got for playing him there) - he has the attributes to be as close to a perfect midfielder at this level.
