Anyone else think there was a lot more than that there? Must have been 2500+ Brummies. the Riverside upper and lower were far fuller than usual, and where i sit in the middle of the kilner ,there were hardly any empty seats to be seen. Is that a fish I can smell?

the crowd and atmosphere was fantastic today...well done every one who got down there today.... felt we could have given the lads a bit more of a lift when there goal went in but every ones head seemed to go down... i felt like i was the only one geeing them on ...probably looked a bit daft ;D never mind though walking back from the match it just felt like we were in the div1 again big crowds...playing birmingham...bolton... etc

The panasonic didn't seem as busy as in previous games, but I was suprised at how many more people there appeared to be in the LB upper where I was sat and also the kilner was about 95% full. How many does the panasonic hold?

No way was the kilner 95% full - more like 75%. Brum sold 2,500 so spot on there. It took a while, but it was a joy to hear all the Town fans finally singing in the last ten minutes

Big Crowd? We had bigger league gates in League 2. The attendance figure was a bit disappointing I thought but the fans who turned up were a credit. Good support and a deserved victory for us who've suffered some gash for quite a while

My bro sat in the Riverside and he said the Kilner didn't look that busy.
There were plenty of empty seats at the back near the middle by us.

However full the crowd was the atmosphere was brilliant. It's not been like that for longer than I can remember. We occasionally get beind the team once we've scored but thats ususally the extent of our singing. Yesterday alot of the Kilner bank was singing, even towards the half way line where I sit people were getting behind Town. Hopefully some of them will come back against Gillingham
Did anyone read Sean Jarvis's notes in the programme? Aparently they've appointed a comitee to try to flind out why the atmosphere is so flat usually! A decent sign from the club!

Its a two way thing
A good atmosphere helps the players...but a bit of determination, hard work and effort as we saw yesterday helps improve the atmosphere
Plus its nice to see more than 200 away fans
But i think the poor attendance was no shock - our average crowd in 2005/06 was higher than yesterday's crowd - i guess its the general feeling of apathy thats grown amongst many fans last season and this - and particularly post pearson bid with the lack of direction from the top.
Our attendances have also fallen 3500 in 2 years which is not good.
