Just looked and Saints beat Chelsea 1-0, nice clean sheet for Fraser Forster in the Saints goal. Ain't gonna be easy is it?! What's happened to Forster? He was in the England squad until recently wasn't he? Did his cruciate last season Sent from my SM-G900F using proboards

Did his cruciate last season Sent from my SM-G900F using proboards Looks a poor keeper to me. How he ever played for England...! When he was around the squad he looked very good. Was probably playing better than Hart at the time. Good shot shopper, big and commanding. Far better than ruddy who has been around the squad for years.

As you can imagine, I've seen Forster quite few times. Initially, he was poor at crosses, but grew into the job, and at the time of his injury was playing as well as Hart, and was at the fulcrum of Saints' success last season. I hope to watch Saints V Town at Staplewood. UTT

All over. 14 straight wins for the U21s. What would the First XI give for that record?

blimey..is there a league table ? Yes. We're ten points clear at the top. Check the official shite site for a bulletin to read. The most telling fact in all this good news is that Frankie Bunn has hardly ever used any over-age players, unlike his oppos who use these games for easing their older first-teamers back to fitness.

Said in another thread that we could do worse than getting Bunn working closely with Wagner and his assistant as a pathway to being able to step in if Wagner goes for whatever reason. The 21s have been playing like the first team do now for a couple of seasons. Lots of energy, good team ethic and very rarely tire at the end of a game. Get a quid on Bunn to be the next manager when Real Madrid poach Wagner

14 wins on the bounce is some achievement for any team in any league never mind a competitive under 21s league. Not wishing to take anything away from it, but are many other clubs regularly sending some of their better players out on loan?

Not forgetting some of our better players were not involved today owing to possible involvement in our first team squad tomorrow. Billing, Dempsey, Holmes.

It's astounding to me just how many of our u21s are well under 20!! I see enough of them to believe this is the group from which well produce 2/3 genuine first teamers. Also met two York City fans today who spoke very highly of Will Boyle

Did his cruciate last season Sent from my SM-G900F using proboards Looks a poor keeper to me. How he ever played for England...! Was outstanding for Celtic. Especially in Europe. 2 of the best goalkeeping performances i've seen came in 2 games v Barcelona. Even Messi etc were raving about him (Not seen much since he left them admittedly)

Anyone attend the talk in by Carssy and Broms last night? I did, they both came across really well. I can't really remember the questions or answers now, I seem to have lost them in the euphoria of last nights game.

Tronstad's been training with FK Haugesund, apparently. Tronstad nærmer seg HaugesundShame it hasn't worked out for him here, but hopefully he gets fixed up for the upcoming season and gets playing again.
