So, both Tronstad and Holmes was told their contracts wouldn't be extended. Does someone know any more developement squad players who have been told the same?
And to those who watch the u21's regularly, who do you think will leave the club after the season?

A little dissapointed that Tronstad didn't get more of an opportunity, I thought he was talented but probably the best choice for both himself and the club. Wouldnt expect to see any others leave the u21s mainly because most are still very, young some still even u18 players. Maybe Loyd Allinson is getting close to the point but probably okay as a u21/3rd place cover.

I wouldn't expect Allinson to be kept on, he's already an overage U21 (he'll be 23 in September) and I think we have a few younger keepers in line.

I would give Crewe credit for closing us down and getting the ball forward quickly. I thought we played better in the first half and they then after Charles scored just after half time they were the better side. Their number 11 (Tom Lowery) was man of the match for me as whilst small in stature he looked really comfortable on the ball and played some excellent passes through our midfield. They could have won it at the death when they hit the post so all in all one apiece was a fair score. Billing was taken off injured and hopefully its not too bad as he is on the fringe of playing in the first team squad. Holmes , Allinson and Bojaj were all missing so no doubt will be travelling to Reading.

Hoping to go. While Saints will probably include a number of players with 1st team experience (Gazzaniga, Stephens, Reed, Gallagher, Seager) they are not as strong a team as in the past few seasons, and Ronald Koeman is not as impressed with the individuals as those from recent years. I'm assuming Matt Targett won't play. I think it is a game Town have a good chance to win.
Those of you who watch Town U21, please tell me those I should really watch out for.

Billing, Holmes & Bojaj are the obvious ones if they are playing after their experience with the first team. I'm a big fan of Jack Senior at left back myself as well as Kane at centre back who will likely be paired with Boyle who's just back from a loan spell at York City. Jacob Hanson is likely to be at right back, bit of a raw talent stills only a second year scholar. Reagan Booty has a sweet left foot in CM and love to play a longer pass, son of Martin Booty and also still a second year scholar. If Bojaj plays he will probably be paired with Charles who has been scoring goals since coming back from injury, before his injury was pushing for first team inclusion, or Pyke who has been in his place most of the season very strong and physical especially for someone who is still a second year scholar but not as good a goal scoring record.

Trying to make out we're just a set play side... we're all over them.
