Even if he stays this is hardly perfect preparation on the eve of a derby game!
He'd be mad if it didn't turn his head a little

Even if he doesn't go, all the speculation must have had an unsettling effect on him.
Having said that, he's hardly Nakhi Wells is he? Don't know what we're bothered about. One goal all year, from the spot. Tssk, could do better me sen.

One goal from the spot all year? That's more than Vaughan.
Its only funny if McCormack and Varney go and the funds Leeds receive go to debt collectors. Don't want them spending £4 or £5m on a load of players.

Well, if those 2 geezers are supposed to have put 6m cash-flow in on the assumption that they'd be buying it - and then they're not, I'd be thinking they'd want that dosh back pretty quickly.

Of course McCormack was mentioned on here as a possible signing 18 months ago.....
Is this another case of one we've missed out on - could have got him for 1 or 1.5 million? And sold him on for 4?
Have me made another Lambert mistake.......
Discuss discuss discuss - got to love transfer deadline day.......

No - since we agreed a fee and McCormack came to look round Canalside/ground twice but he held onto wait for an improved contract offer which he got and was more than we could afford to offer.

Whatever he does he'll be playing championship football next season so he may as well go and get a big pay rise from Tan.

We were in for him, and Grayson said at the time it was virtually a done deal but fell down at the last minute. I think Leeds probably offered him a much improved wage when they realised he was actually going to join us.

Sure he`ll be delighted to stay at Leeds. Prem League plus a pay rise or be payed in a brown envelope by an Italian crook every month. The real sad thing about the Leeds Take-over is the lack of media coverage. Hardly a mention in national media about the biggest club in the world - being bought by a convicted crook probably with dirty money. More coverage on a loan move to Crystal Palace.

You have to admire the blokes loyalty to the club. A long list before him have jumped ship at the first sniff of a bigger wage. We've turned down 4 bids for him since the summer and time and time again he's come out and said he's committed to Leeds United. No one would have begrudged him a move to the premier league and a chance to double his wages especially with everything that's going on at the club. Fair play

You honestly believe any player would turn down doubling wages - naive.

You honestly believe any player would turn down doubling wages - naive. So you telling me he wouldn't have doubled his wages or near enough at Cardiff or even west ham?
