Positive thinking here ! Remember Burnley were slipping down the league rapidly this time last year, I think? Then they went to Wolves and won to alleviate any relegation fears ! Let's hope the same for us when we visit Yeovil. Then proceed to have a season like the one they are having ! Clutching at straws but we need some positive thinking Just now thinking who is going to be the `Scott Arfield' of next season for us ??

Am I totally wrong in thinking though they were sliding down until the Win at wolves and questioning Dyches appointment ? Maybe I am clutching at straws

They were wanting Dyche out all year, how things change. It shows what can happen when you stick with your manager.

Last year in a table from 31 December to the end of the season, Burnley were 13th with 1.33 points per game.
This year from the same point we're 22nd with 0.79 points per game (how sh*8te have Leeds and Blackpool been?).
Struggling to see any comparison myself.

The OP is half correct about last season - after losing to Leeds with 3 games remaining, we only had 55 points and a lot of fans were worried about relegation with so many teams packed together. Fortunately, we drew at home to Cardiff and beat Wolves and Ipswich to finish 11th.
Horrendous mistake by Arfield on Saturday cost us a point but he is still well in credit this season. I know it's against the spirit of the game, but we don't know why Scott did not take out Tomlin and get a yellow card instead of allowing the opponent a run on goal. Trippier was last defender so would not have been red.
I cannot see the Terriers being dragged into the bottom three, but I hope we can ease your worries (and OURS) by beating Blackpool on Good Friday.
