If I'd only won one in ten games or had a result in ten efforts at work I'd be sacked if I didn't put it in, pmsl.

If they want to put a shift in a 12 hour night shift grafting in a factory might give them a taste of reality.

He's now trying the 'young and inexperienced' and the 'got robbed' route.
Sometimes you don't get penalties Mark, and the team isn't that young, and even if you think it is - then you should have done something about that.
Already rolling out the excuses - don't like it.

So they haven't been putting a shift in recently. Why has that been allowed to happen?

"Mathematically it is uncomfortable; we would much rather be clear of safety by now"Mark - we are clear of safety. That's why we're in the relegation battle you refer to. What? It's ok for you pedants to pick my stuff apart

Hate 'may' haves! 'If Nahki Wells had gone around the keeper he may have scored'
Same said about the penalty - it doesn't change the fact that we lost.
If James Vaughan wasn't injury prone he 'may' have scored enough goals to get us into the play offs.
If Herbert Chapman hadn't left we 'may' have won the league for a 4th time.
I know they have to say something but stick to what happened not what 'may' have!

I've not looked at MR's comments yet but I'm guessing there stating that we're going to stick together and put a shift in for these upcoming games. The things not going our way such as Wardy pen last week and Nahki not taking it round the keeper... Blah blah usual blah. Just win Town c'mon

'Ready to put a a shift in tmrw'?

No matter how predictable MR's comments become, they'll never be as predictable and boring, as the same shite that is trotted out on this site, week in, week out, by the same clowns, and you can take that to the bank.

To be fair I think most teams would struggle against Derby away if you gift them a two goal head start (Smithies and PC penalty) and then played with 9 men

So we are in a relegation scrap..... Pity it has taken him the last six to eight weeks to realise, and now he states the obvious!!

It seems that literally the last 10 games have yielded the same old rhetoric. We WILL put in a shift, we WILL improve, mistakes have cost us etc etc.
It just gets tedious and boring after a while

Most fans to me seem a bit disillusioned with town at the moment. We need a win.

I like Adam Clayton's take on things - "we are capable of winning two, three or all four. It won’t work like that"So, in other words, "we're capable of winning 2, 3 or 4. But we won't." Clayton: We're Capable. Sort of.

shouldn't it be...
Clayton "We're capable of giving the ball away and looking completely disinterested for 90 minutes"?
