Her first game ever.. She hates football so I told her you won't see any..
If we win she will have to come again... Not sure that's a good idea.
If we lose, she want to come again.
I wil take a boring 0-0...

Has she asked to come to the game or did you invite her down? Either way I'm thinking you're ever so slightly masochistic, being sat next to someone who would most likely want to be as far away from the stadium as possible - and will probably moan far more than anyone else all during the match (if not as loudly). Enjoy the game

I've placed a banning order on my lass, she's been to 5 matches with me, and we've lost every single one. It's probably her fault we're where we are now.

I'm taking my daughter to her third game.
This is the decider whether she comes ever again cos her first game was brum at home which was woeful but her second game was Wigan home which we won.
Win tomorrow and she comes all next season... Lose and she stays at home with her mum forever.
Bit of a double edged sword though cos when I take her, the Mrs won't let me have a drink.
Do I hope for a town win and consequently consider her good luck and take her to more games but sacrifice a nice cold lager or hope we lose so I consider her bad luck but I get to have a skin full of the good stuff?
Dilemma.

My daughter "hates football" yet if asked she supports Huddersfield. Same as the rest of us I suppose.

The first and last time my gaffer went with me to L.Road we got tonked 0 - 3 by Man U.
I think she thought it would be a similar experience to a visit to the theatre or cinema...
Enough said.

My mrs is 5ft tall and once took her to see us play Doncaster in league 1 when we drew 2-2. She was stuck behind a post throughout the entire game and she never saw a bloody thing haha

Is she able to explain the offside rule to me - f**ked if I know these days. My missus tried to explain it, all smart like with real world context. "So...if I'm at the back of a queue to buy a new hand bag, and theres the shop worker in goals, I cant throw the bag to my friend who is at the front of the queue, because that would be offside. But...if theyre second in the queue at the time I throw it, but they jump to the front of the queue whilst the bag is in the air and catch it at the front of the queue...thats fine. Likewise, if theyre second in the queue, I can throw the bag to them, and thats ok...and...and this isnt likely to happen, but if I'm at the front of the queue, I can throw the bag to my friend who is second, or maybe standing alongside me...and thats fine too". To which I responded...."except of course, you cant be offside from a throw in".
