Leicester forward Gary Taylor-Fletcher has earned a one-year contract extension with the newly-promoted club.
The 32-year-old, who joined the Foxes in September, will now stay at the King Power Stadium until the summer of 2015 and will help Nigel Pearson's men on their return to the Premier League.
Taylor-Fletcher, who played in the top flight for former club Blackpool, made 21 appearances this season as Leicester cruised to the Championship title.
The former Hudderfield man only made two league starts in the 2013/14 campaign, but he did come off the bench 19 times for Nigel Pearson's side and scored goals against Bolton, Brighton and Huddersfield
Good luck GTF

I'm banging the same drum again but who cares?.... Harry Maguire!! I understand that Maguire has a choice including Chelsea, Man U and Arsenal, and Sheffield United will listen to offers starting at £5m. Still, he is too slow for us seemingly.

My source informed me yesterday that Gabriel Zakuani is in Huddersfield discussing a potential move as robins sees him as "experienced". Also, we are monitoring the contract situation regarding Jonathan Parr at crystal palace to see if he gets offered a new one. If he doesn't, we may be looking at a potential deal for him. Robins is weighing up an offer for Chris O'Grady and if we can get him for a decent price, we may be in for him. Cathcart and Dobbie also linked as everyone already knows.

Heard all of the above, hardly inspiring stuff and not sure they are the sort a club would need if it seriously wants to push for the play offs. However I do think that these standard we are looking at this season.

The key to having a believable source would be to post something before it's done the rounds on twitter, and been confirmed as "banter" by the player who started the rumour.

Ok, many people have been shouting about who they want at Town realistically on other threads, so I thought I'd neaten up all the rumours and only post the likely ones. Decided someone should cut the unrealistic bullshit like Troy Deeney and focus on players we could actually get. So here is the list of players we are actually rumoured to be linked with: Cyrus Christie (heavily) Harry Maguire Chris O'Grady Rados?aw Majewski Tomasz Cywka Craig Cathcart Sean St. Ledger Mike Van Duinen Gary Mackay-Steven Stevie May Chris Eagles Ricardo VazTe Kieran Agard Jay Emmanuel-Thomas Tom Beugelsdijk Jose Baxter Tom Lawrence Franck Moussa Chris Solly Peter Whittingham Tommy Rowe Jake Buxton Luke Freeman Sam Baldock Chris Kirkland Luke Ayling Mark Hudson Chris Burke Darren Pratley Matt Gilks Jacob Mellis Massimo Luongo Kirk Broadfoot Emmanuel Ledesma Ben Watson David N'Gog Jonathan Parr Reda Johnson Luke Steele Marc Pugh Simeon Jackson Jean Beausejour David Cotterill Bobby Hassell Gary Caldwell Zat Knight Matthew Etherington David Forde Reuben Noble-Lazarus Sylvan Ebanks-Blake Paddy McCourt Ben Hamer Lloyd Dyer (linked, but shit) Andy Keogh (linked, but shit) Danny Batth (slightly unrealistic) Harry Arter (slightly unrealistic) Chris Wood (slightly unrealistic) Jack Hunt (slightly unrealistic) Glenn Murray (slightly unrealistic) Ryan Gauld (slightly unrealistic) Marc Albrighton (unrealistic) Sean Morrison (unrealistic) Anthony Pilkington (unrealistic) Much to speculate here... Why is Lloyd Dyer so much more spectacularly shitter than the others (bar Keogh) that he deserves shit in brackets after him?!! I would've thought that was obvious... it's cos he's shit. Seriously though, he's 32 and an aimless winger and tbh, I think we have enough of them right now...

They haven't signed yet & knowing town we have no idea which players we are "linked" with. Agents know we have a bit of money so they will make rumours up about joining us.

Why exactly? If the lad was that good he wouldn't still be at Sheff Utd, plying his trade at the bottom half of League One. The fact he's been a mainstay in their side for three/four seasons, with nobody coming in for him, suggests to me he can't be all that special Maguire is a talented young player, Blades fans really rate him. Maguire staying is really due to Sheffield managing to hold him, rather than his ability, which we must give them credit for, as he has attracted attention in the past. Oh and fyi, Sheffield United finished in the top half of League 1, just outside the play-offs and reached the Fa Cup semi-final at Wembley. Shame their record at Wembley isn't too great, eh? Forgive my ignorance- i've followed League One very little this year as there's been nothing, or nobody, worth following. I assumed, given their horrific start to the season, that a top half finish was nigh on impossible. As for Maguire, I've always found him a bit lumbersome and clumsy. Solid in the air, yes, but I'm not sure that is enough. And he isn't particularly quick or great with the ball at his feet - we have enough of that type of centre half. I remember him being billed a hot prospect, I just feel that he'd have been linked with more clubs than he has if he'd come on as he was expected to. I'd prefer us to go down other avenues myself

Maguire is slow, but is a lot more solid than some of our other CBs and younger. I think he'll make a valuable asset to the team, but I see your point.

There's more chance of Sean Jarvis ditching his 'Teak Suntan Oil' or Dean inviting Ken Davy round for his summer barbecue

When you see all those names on the list it makes you wonder how a decision is ever made to buy anybody.
