Maybe you should have got a load of vuvuzelas instead of flags that's going to improve the quality of the atmosphere . It did in the world cup in affrica . And maybe a few wins would work best . Anyway good luck hope it goes well . Now I KNOW you're taking the piss! Thanks for the good wishes though pal. We can but try our best.

How's a few flags going to improve the quality of the atmosphere . We've only got 3 songs . And be honest do you really think when we're losing people will sing along . Everyone is entitled to an opinion but this is one section of the board that really should just be for the upbeat!!! If you don't agree with what these lads are doing, fine, but for one place on the entire board, let's have no negativity, just don't comment at all...in fact because it's placed in it's own section, you don't even have to look at it. I'll be in the Kilner Bank but i think it's brilliant what you lads are trying to do

The best banner of all time never saw the light of day. In the early 80's a load of scaffolding went up around the old ABC cinema (top Sainsburys now stands on the spot). Draped over the front of the scaffolding was a huge banner of perhaps 10 x 20 yards. Myself and a good friend (and fellow Town fan known to many of you) headed into town late one night to cut it down and then display it a game. The banner was unfortunately gone. What did the banner say in large black letters on a white background? "LEEDS DEMOLITION COMPANY"

Come on...all the doubters on here listen to yourselfs, these people are trying to make change for the better of everyone!!
Is it jealously that you haven't renewed in the FML? Or maybe your knocking on and set in your ways. Moaners like you guys are the reason the atmosphere is so DULL!
Let's pull together. If you have nothing positive to add then please put you opinion in another thread...

Vuvuzelas would be a good idea, they worked really well at the Milwall game on a Friday night I remember

It would also be a good idea to give vuvuzelas to the kids in the upper tier or in block 10 of the riverside lower

I'll get some money pumped into this shortly. Only heard about the funding and sub hoard etc from Scoffa & Sio tonight as I've not had chance to get on, but what a fantastic effort so far with everything. Next seasonal ready looks set to be an enjoyable one, even if it isn't enjoyable on the pitch.

It's a genuine question . Do you think a flag will improve the quality of the atmosphere ? Am not having a go at anyone so don't get out of your prams . well if its going to be quiet,it might as well look nice,, seriously decorations make people more upbeat and in the right spirit,it works for christmas ect

Anyway good luck hope it goes well . Vuvuzelas . . . no thanks, just an annoying, boring noise droning on in the background (if you get my meaning)
Can't promise the wins, that's out of our hands
Positive support for our team - win lose or draw, now I'm up for some of that

Just a thought but do you reckon it'd be worth restricting access in the FML to just the 3 middle blocks behind the goal, given that it's unlikely to be filled? Just because any future displays etc. aren't going to look great with people spread out, and also would help concentrate the noise.

With it being unreserved I suspect we'll use the outer blocks for our flags, so naturally they'll probably be restricted and push people towards the middle.

Kinda like that idea but very much doubt the club will 'restrict' access. Given that - so i've read somewhere - seating is unreserved (despite season tickets), people are free to sit where they like. And restricting access prevents the possibility of the stand selling out, even though we all know that won't be the case initially. One would hope that those that are sitting in there - myself included - would realise that all grouping together centrally would only benefit the noise made - would look better visually too, what with the new flags to around

Would a banner with castle hill incorporated Into it be a good shout? Something close Huddersfield hearts? Maybe an birds eye view of old Leeds road somewhere?
Regarding te FML, maybe the club could look at making it an open end, so any ST holder can go in there?

Realistically there's no reason why we shouldn't do it, as long as they monitor ticket sales so there's no overcrowding. Everyone in the ground will have purchased their STs at a higher rate, so the club won't be losing any money on this.

It won't cost the club a penny to do this because the rest of the ground is more expensive than the home end.

What about a Nahki Wells flag? It looks like we're building our team around him... What about...
Bermuda Flag and Nahki's mugshot
"He's from Bermuda...
He'll run right thru ya...
Something a bit different to just talking about the 1920s and Castle Hill...
