Encouraging meeting, it's good to see the enthusiasm for improving the atmosphere at home games is there and we have a group of supporters prepared to put some time and effort in to make it happen.
It'll be cracking in there next season.

Agreed.
A solid foundation to work from; I have no doubt we have the right man in Scoffa fronting the group and it was a pleasure to meet everybody concerned.
Thanks to Canalside for putting on the food and cheers to Mark Lillis for the photo with all of us, top man!
The real work starts now...

I was disappointed by Ben The Greenkeepers lack of tan, I thought he'd be a right bronzed Adonis seenas he spends his days driving a lawnmower round a golf course.

Bullet point notes from the first home end meeting at the Canalside Saturday 24/05/14
We presently have £1420 in the paypal donation account (95% of the existing target) which will be raised again once achieved.
With final tweeking of the top 3 designs to take place (voting closes at 11.30pm tonight) these will then be purchased with full fire certification. The top 3 are presently .... You'll never win 3 in a row........The Terrier image....... and the Evolution design.....The landscape banner with HC 1925/25/26 will be purchased outside of the vote.
£995 has been allocated for the purchase of the first 4 flags. It was suggested that with the balance of the fund and further donations that we continue to buy the further 7 flag designs in the vote in order of popularity. I will also speak with the club regarding the purchase options for the flags.
It was suggested that we buy 1 x surfing flag 20ft x 10ft (Design TBC) 1 x 25ft x 5ft banner in landscape which is the HC 1924/25/26 design and 3 x 15ft x 10ft flags - The top 3 from the voting poll. The best present quotation is from Northern flags.
It was confirmed that the identity for the home end would be North Stand Loyal (NSL)
Twitter and Facebook accounts have been set up in the name of North Stand Loyal
The smile-a-while club anthem was discussed and generally was agreed to be the most popular although the differing versions of this anthem were confusing. It was suggested that the existing SAW sang by the fans was fine and with the Clubs input could we put a recorded fans version out over the PA along with a fan-cam or a recording of the fans singing the anthem on the big screen to be sang just before kick off. It was also confirmed that it should be sung from the first verse and in support of this that the words could also be put up on the big screen for those that don't know the full version.
To gain full effect for both the flag visuals and the anthem it was suggested that the NSL should take up their seats at least 15 minutes before the game to get the atmosphere going and to get the SAW anthem going pre-kick off with the assistance of the Club and PA.
It was suggested that as the club presently do now, that we also involve ourselves with a schools/college initiative to spread the word to a wider and younger audience. For the schools initiative it was suggested that we invite a flag design competition with the winning design going to print supported by the funds from the crowd funding campaign. It was also suggested that we put out flyers/posters to the University and Colleges to raise awareness and that we speak to both the commercial department of the club along with Andy Booth and Mandy Taylor.
Home end catering was discussed and it was asked if we could have additional facilities for both food and drink and that these could be located a little further away from the toilet facilities where on the trial games last season the queues were merging.
Health & Safety was discussed in length taking in to account the home end temporary structure and the do's and don'ts ie no persistent bouncing up and down and no blocking of the aisle-ways along with all flags over the permitted size having fire certification either sewn in to the flag or a hard copy being registered with the club.
SC transfers from other parts of the ground and non SC holders pay on the day in to the NS were discussed. It was requested that this be made easier with an allocated turnstyle/s rather than having to pre-book or go to the main ticket office. This has already been suggested to the club at the last ATT meeting and they are presently looking in to the logistics of this. I will hopefully have further feedback from the next ATT meeting on Wednesday 25th June.
An HTFC NSL fans website is presently under construction....Further details will be supplied upon development.
It was suggested that a proposal be made to the club to have an allocated area for away game tickets and that this should be made to allow for those that wish, to congregate together to create a better away day atmosphere.
The commercial department have already been contacted with an aim to put official HTAFC NSL merchandise in to the club shop. The first suggestions are raincoats/kagouls logo'd with an NSL design which is presently under way. Other suggestions are welcome and i will follow this up with the commercial department at the next ATT meeting.
It was suggested that the NSL organise to travel together to 2 or 3 away games next season. These games and the organisation will be confirmed after the fixtures come out and at the next NSL meeting.
It was suggested that all flags/banners be laid out by club staff before the game and then taken in to safe keeping by the club staff after the game which again i will confirm at the next ATT meeting.
It was suggested that the next NSL meeting be held at the Canalside on a Saturday at 1pm after the fixtures have been released (18/06/14) and after the next ATT meeting (25/06/14). Initially i would like to suggest Saturday 28th June, can you please confirm to me by PM if this date is ok. I will address all points of the meeting agenda and the above detailed minutes at the next ATT meeting and responses to the same given at the next NSL meeting (date TBC)
Finally i would like to thank all those in attendance and in particular the Canalside staff for their help and support on the day with the facilities and the slide show and in particular Ray the Canalside chef who laid on more than food for all without any request being made.
I think the above pretty much covers all details from the meeting, please feel free to add or comment.
Cheers Scoff

Before you go to print. YOU'LL NEVER WIN 3 IN A ROW. Who is this directed at? Our current players, the opposition or their fans? If we get to the prem. 3 other clubs have also won 3 in a row. I think the banner is a good idea but could be worded better.
