If I dont make it I like your idea of letting sc holders of other stands to go in without hassle, the bigger the game the more would go in, this imo is the way to build the support up in the lower.

I'll push the point home at the meeting mate, it's something which I think will give town fans the oppertunity to taste the FML and decide for themselves. Hopefully I'll see you there

Most important thing on the agenda should getting the ridiculous fire regulations relating to flags and banners relaxed in line with other stadiums in the UK in 2014.Every match I see on tv has homemade banners hanging around the ground. Then we really can start showing some colour in the FML.

Something else to note is the Examiner will be there doing a feature and photo, so if you'd like to be involved in that it's another reason to get down

Fire regs are there for a reason Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk They are there for a reason your right, however there is also common sense. Banners soaked in petrol with nazi symbols on should rightly be banned. But a St George's cross baught from sports direct shouldn't need a certificate to say it's safe to be outside. The cloths on peoples backs don't come with fire certificates, the rules regarding banners and flags are far too strict and should be looked at.

Maybe it's the size issue

Maybe it's the size issue Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk It's got nothing to do with the flag size as long as it has a fire certificate which is understandable.....The issue is with flags on poles.....Presently the pole must be made of a plastic material with rounded ends and be no more than 7mm in diameter and no longer than 1 metre.....If you look around other clubs in particular high profile clubs you will see that pretty much anything goes.....Legislation relates to the maximum requirements as i've already detailed.....BUT....Club policy can over ride this based upon a reasoned presentation from the club to the safety officers.....I guess this is what the likes of Palace and Liverpool have done.

Anyone know where you can get poles which are 7mm and made of plastic? Been looking round but can't find anything suitable anywhere?!?
It would be nice to have some big wavy flags in the stand, even if it was just at the front on the walk way bit, or just over the advertising think like the do in front of the Kilner as the teams run out. It's not like we are asking for the world and everyone is sensible enough to know what is/isn't acceptable so it would probably police itself

As Scoffa may have touched on, we did discuss these regs/policies with John Robinson and asked whether we could open discussions to get things changed. He seemed open to starting a dialogue, so with a bit of work I'm positive we can get the policy changed.

Home-end Meeting; YOU’RE INVITED! www.htsa-online.co.uk/2014/05/home-end-meeting-youre-invited/Posted on May 16, 2014 by kingy There is an important meeting being held at Canalside on Saturday May 24th at 1pm & you are invited! Following on from the successful ATT meetings, a sub-group has been set up to look at improving the atmosphere at HTFC home games. As a result a crowd funding initiative has been started by our friends at DATM – the number 1 HTFC forum – in a very short space of time over £1000 has been raised by fans to fund flags & banners. You can make your own donation by following this link: www.payitsquare.com/collect-page/34522If you want to get involved & share your ideas then please support your fellow fans. They are working tirelessly for the cause of HTFC. UTT BnIO9ATCcAAjN9C.jpg-large BnIOg1eCcAAHlov BnIOqXyCMAEdVJQ.jpg-large Be Sociable, Share!

Hello, Palace fan living in Huddersield . At Selhurst Park in the Holmesdale Fanatics we have a section of the crowd that help create the atmosphere that has been accepted as the best in the Premier League this season. In answer to different threads on here, they divide opinion, so dont expect everyone to be in favour of what you are doing, but stick at it. It helps with a drummer, but just to do a basic beat of the chant to help keep other areas of the ground in time. You may also need "conductors" who will be facing the crowd leading the clapping. Don't get bogged down in discussing flags and fire regs, because they exist like them or not, but that side will grow over time. You need the clubs help to get tickets in a group, home and away so that you start to get known and others will start to join in. The atmosphere has to be for 95 minutes every game and if the opposition score you have to get louder and keep singing. The HF are based in a similar position to the North Stand for acoustics so don't let that stand against you. Anyway I,m setting off to Spain shortly so good luck with the meeting and for next season.

Cancel Spain and come down to the Canalside to give us further information.....Seriously though keep an eye on this board and if you can make the next meeting you'd be more than welcome...The Palace HF end is our intended aim and we could do with as much information as possible to get there that much sooner....Cheers
