 Sorry HalifaxTerrier for using your logo without permission  . But this is more like a modern style banner? I know you're looking for more taller banner but this might be something to consider. Most groups have them... HF of palace (at the front)  GB celtic  Just my opinion but i think we need an identity and something to put in front of us! bear in mind this was just an idea feel free to edit my design or delete or whatever you feel like doing. If it's S*** just tell me |

Useless at designs but just some phrases that could be incorporated: 'North End 12th Man', 'Can't Help Falling In Love With You', 'Pride Of Yorkshire', 'All The While Upon The Field Of Play', 'Oh To Be A Terrier' etc.

I think North Stand Loyals is a good stop gap name but I think we can do better and it will come naturally over time. so I think we'd be better spending cash on other banners.

Our task is to appeal to people and convert people to the FML and we can't do that if people don't know what they're joining. |

Scoffa I know you said you can't remember the price for a fire safety test, but is it like above £100? if not I could make something like that easily with fire retardant fabric and jobs a good 'n'. If you look at both palace and celtic they're both and painted!

I know what you're saying and I'm not having a dig, it's just that North Stand Loyals is a bit generic and doesn't say anything about town really. Probably a bit late in the day now that there's momentum behind it though so we may as well just go with it.  |

Bit late into this debate but how much does a crowdsurfer cost? Is it totally out of the question finance wise? I like the North stand loyal ones , the first on boltons post could be a crowdsurfer

We did have two different crowdsurfers at Stockport a couple of years back and can be found near the end of this video...

Was at that game lovely sunny day, The guy with the Vuvuzeala made me laugh when he blew it at the steward who I don't think was too impressed. Wonder what happened to those crowdsurfers? Remember being squashed on the train home but after a 6-0 I didn't really care

If fire retardant material is requested the fire cert comes as part and parcel of the price of the flag, the hard copy of which is then registered with the club. We are presently looking at the option of having the same sewn on to the flag as well for away days etc to save having to carry the hard copy to other grounds....Obviously if sewn in it would also have to be made of flame retardant material. |

I've had a idea for another flag design but a) I'm rubbish at Photoshop and b) even if I wasn't, for some reason I can't upload any photos onto this site
So here's my idea.
Blue background
Then use the design of the distinctive white banana shaped roof trusses with a floodlight at either end.
Underneath that we could have the old Huddersfield Town train plate(like we used to have in the main stand at the Leeds Rd
Then below that North Stand Loyal.
Anyone able knock up some sort of mock up?

If this attempt at generating some real atmosphere does take off, and it will get more popular the more success Town have on the field, then more people will end up going in the North Stand Lower then more room for fans will be needed which would then give a stronger argument for us having the South Stand. Creating a name that would be transferable between stands would be a better idea unless other groups start in different stands to rival the North Stand initiative. |
