It may be a nice gesture to get agreement with the club for a small number of folk to be expected to remain in the ground after full time (maybe at some specific meeting point, so they can encourage others to leave etc) to then assist with cleaning up the stands after a match??
If NSL takes off, it's going to get messier than other stands with burst balloons, ticker tape, confetti etc to add to the usual junk.
I think putting our hand up showing a bit of responsibility, ownership and demonstrating a commitment to self-policing could help the club and KSDL be more likely to trust and let the NSL "just get on with it" moving forwards?
Just needs a handful of stiff brushes and some means of collection, which I'm sure the stadium must already have?

Isn't cleaning up covered by part of the twenty odd pound we spend watching 90 minutes of usually dubious entertainment ?

Funnily enough ben1987 suggested a similar idea, pretty sure he was keen on volunteering himself for this.

Isn't cleaning up covered by part of the twenty odd pound we spend watching 90 minutes of usually dubious entertainment ? With a season ticket its more like £12.50p, but thats not the point is it? Its about doing the right thing and earning the trust to get on and be left pretty much alone on a match day to have a good time whilst remaining responsible, in effect, informally taking back ownership of a little bit of the club for the fans. At least, thats what I think its about anyway...maybe I've got the wrong end of the NSL stick??? Doing the easy little things might make it easier down the road when it comes to talk about the difficult things. Pretty sure if the stand was covered in puke and smashed seats every other Saturday then the club and KSDL would make the area less appealing to renew into for the 2015/16 season.

Aren't we doing enough by turning up and giving all our effort in the stands? The mess left by 1800 people would be a lovely problem for Dean to sort no? He'd be delighted!

Surely that's covered in the exorbitant rent that KSDL screw out of us. by all means stay behind to take down the banners and store them away but why should anyone be KSDL's slave labour?

To be fair a lot of groups tidy up the stands after a display as a way of getting the club onside to allow said displays.
