Just posting this on the main board in case any of you miss it in the North Stand Loyal section. We've now got blue and white bar scarves with the North Stand Loyal logo knitted in, on sale, at just a fiver plus postage. I'd say that's a bargain. There's 300 ordered, and we want to shift them all, not cos we want the money, but because if there's 300 of the buggers getting swung round during a 10 minute rendition of "Blue and White Army", it'll look absolutely friggin ace. Remember folks, the league are promoting game 1 as #wallofcolour, and the NSL are bringing as much blue and white to you as we can, if you can spare the price of a couple of pints, you can make a massive visual contribution to it. Just follow the link. BUY MERight, I'm off to parcel up some tee shirts.

F****** tremendous effort by those behind the scenes. I'm looking forward to getting back north on the 9th and seeing the fruits of your hard labour. Keep it up.

Ha ha just the ticket that mate. Will you be joining us for one game? Maybe, I'll see how it goes. I'm not a fan of sitting behind the goals to be honest, but I may come in for a game if it's proving to be 'rocking'.

Depends on which part of the stripe you look at on the new kit. My 1st recollection of the lighter blue stripes was in 94-95 (20yrs ago) when Mick Jones saw Boothy walking around the Wembley pitch modelling a copy of the original light blue design & wanted us to wear something similar, hence the Panasonic kit.

Not sure why there has been a drift away from the traditional royal blue stripes to the lightish blue, there has never been any kind of explanation given. You're right about the Panasonic shirt was probably the first breakaway from tradition and it was a good shirt, the royal blue has been on and off since then. Having been a Town fans since the mid 80's, Town always play in Royal Blue stripes.

The scarves are currently rolling off the production line, and here we have an exclusive shot of what will be the mandatory terrace fashion item of 2014/15. Buy 3 - One for your neck and one for each wrist, just like they did it in the old days. Scarf ShopA fiver each plus a quid postage, you'd be mad not to.

Well we've got ours on order, however, I wonder if a follow up run (as winter approaches?) might have an alternative design with rotated logos so its the right way up when dangling round your neck?

It's something we looked into, and may do in later batches. We decided that we'd like the logos upright when the is held above your head.

If its lofted like that smiley, the ends will be dangling and the logo will be sideways!! How about each end 90 degrees?! Then one end would be upright for swirling, and end would be upright when wearing like a tie?!

We're hoping to have a point of sale on matchdays for the scarves. Just need to finalise a few details.
