I think you're clutching at straws with this.. I also read that the club is waiting on Prem clubs to establish their squads first.
I thought of it as when you see sharks on nature documentaries (or an Otium 4 day long weekend break) feasting on their prey and all the little insignificant small fish are feeding on their scraps. We are the little insignificant fish.

The clubs performances will not have helped with player knocking down the managers door. Wages and transfer fees is another reason players have not been signed. The dregs will be floating to the surface shortly and we may be able to scoop some from the surface. We are going nowhere, well maybe down. Something needs to happen to inject steel and pace into the team and I am not seeing it at the moment.

That above article in the Guardian does not take into consideration when everything goes wrong ie when clubs go into administration and are left to pick up the pieces of which Mr arsehole - ex chairman Rubery might be able to explain better.

Yet if it wasn't for that "arsehole" Rubery we wouldn't have a club. He wrote off shit loads of money he could have claimed from the club after administration. He was badly advised in how to run a football club by people he trusted.

Rubery was only a victim of his own arrogance.

If he didn't overspend then pull the plug we wouldn't have been in administration in the 1st place!

Ruberys kamakazi business deals were made simply because he had his sights focused on the rich pickings of the premier league and put profit long before the well being of the club as was later proven .

As many as you want. The max 25 players over the age of 21 / home grown players / etc rules only apply to the Premier League, as their interpretation of rules set out by UEFA. Town can have as many players in their squad as they want to, notwithstandimg the limitations on maximum numbers of loan player.

He was badly advised in how to run a football club by people he trusted. This old chestnut again. The fact is Barry Rubery actually MADE money by 'writing off' the money owed him. The debt was actually twice what he had put into the club himself and by writing it off he was then able to use that as a tax deductible expense. That meant he could save himself more money in his tax bill than he had actually put into the club in the first place. He did not do it out of the goodness of his heart, he did it to make money.
