Estadio Mario Mercado Vaca Guzmán...real potosi play there from bolivia.
Its the highest altitude city in the world so I presume it must be the highest altitude stadium. 3960m above sea level.
I was in potosi a few months ago...real potosi were league champions. all other teams must struggle to breath...i found it near on impossible!

I saw the slowest game of footy ever between Liga & Barcelona at well over 3000m in Quito (Ecuador) a couple of years ago. Its up there as one of the highest grounds in the world. I was breathless just walking the steps to get out of the ground. You would not last a minute running about up there. Despite the snails pace of the game the fans are wild though.

brazil have now refused to play anywhere at high altitude.....bit un fair really...it was the only chance teams like bolivia , ecuador, columbia e.t.c had of beating them...
the rich and glourious ditcate I suppose!
