Just to ease your worries a tad Sugy , if you look at the bottom of the strengths and weaknesses section it says the ratings are based on stats from the given players performances this season and last, from what I can see Hudson only played twice last season mainly due to injury and 3 times this season. I would assume that even you can see that a 5 game sample isn't the best way to judge a player who is held in high regard and has been playing the game for 14 years.

(Sugy) adding a bit more to the statistical debate.....
If you look on the website that the ratings you've quoted come from you'll see they appear, to me anyway, to be based on games this season so far. So, statistically, I guess they aren't too reliable as yet.
Looking at the stats though his overall rating of 7.29 puts him 3rd in Cardiff's team. Where do you think he'd be in ours? First. He'll push Dixon (7.27) to second. Follow the link. From this I conclude, using the same stats you've used to have a bit of a dig at him, that he's now our best player.....

My thread was based on information recieved from my Cardiff City friends which was backed up by the sky article on a website. The bottom line is i now realise that my expectations for Town differ to many on this site and maybe Championship survival is far more realistic target than getting this club back in the top flight.

Cardiff fan here. Id say 95% of Cardiff fans are sad to see Hudson go. A quality centre back. Dont know who this guys Cardiff friends are. Look at our forums. Im still in disbelief that weve signed 2 defenders for a combined £8m when we still had the 3 centre halves who got us promoted. Only thing correct is he has no pace. However he is an excellent reader of the game which makes up for it. He cant pass can he ? LOL. Of course he can pass the ball. More than decent for a centre half. Cant tackle again LOL. Just so ludicrous its not worth commenting on that one. The concern I would have is him staying fit as hes had injury set backs the last couple of seasons. Hudson is quality.

Just to put things into perspective with regards Sky Sports' analysis of player strengths, especially in the defensive/tackling areas... So this is nigel adkins scouting network

Concentration? Bit of a weird one. Do you see many players going 'i'll just pass this ball to....oh look a squirrel'
